Thort Gen.1's have stopped being made..

ok so i have three xmods already, i went into my local model shop (and ovcourse offiial xmod dealer) i was humming and harring about which one to buy, i looked around, there was no supra's which i wanted, i saw this one box it was a gen1 subaru impreza the HPI Racing one, i snapped it up as soon as possible, wen i got home i checked it with my EVO Xmods, and it looked slightly different i checked it with my Gen1 and tahdah it was the same, like the title says i thort gen1's had stopped being made? and in the booklet theres the gen1 skyline also.. but is this in the evo manual cus i chucked mine away.. thanx

Gen 1s are no longer in production and as far as I know there are some Evo Xmods that have stopped being made...So if you find a gen 1 and you like it you better snatch it up. Depending on where you live will dictate the availability of gen 1s. There are a lot of em floating around. Down here in Houston, TX they've been gone for about a year. Ebay is they only way I can get mine....

thats why i snached it up fast, i live in the uk, i was in the shop n i thort "I thort the impreza had gone out of production..." i didnt ask because there was another guy eye-ing it up, also it has ENKEI rims, drift tyres and a stage 1 motor with 8teath.. dno if this is stock with this model, i havnt had time to get mods yet, but will post as soon as, XD

oh and! was £38.99 to much? i didnt think so for a gen.1.. also it says £39.99 (£40) on the cover for the box.. which is pretty cool, photo's in gall soon

i believe the hpi impreza is japan or uk only. can u get pics of it?

I also thought that the HPI edition Impreza was a special edition released in Japan only! So if you picked one up for 40 then you got a serious deal!

Of course I could be wrong!

I bid on ebay for one about 6 months ago but it when it got over 150 then 175 i said screw it...it sold for over $200! So yeah you gotta good deal. Japan and UK always get the cool stuff...cars, rc cars, toys, aftermarket car parts...you name it...the US alway gets jipped

yeah, I agree! Here's some more stuff we don't have:

ok first of all they only sell xmods at radeo shack so what u got is a used one someone sold to the hobby shop u boght it from.and they dont make gen 1's any more thats y ayous was at the hobby shop and not at RS.

true the only way you is getting a gen1 is by either

1) The Source
2) internet
or
3) some one besides RS is selling it.

didnt you read above? i dont live in america, so there ARE NO radio shacks in the uk, and it says OFFICIAL Dealer and its not used, it had all the seals n stuff still on it.. thanx n e way, they have a whole range of xmod stuff, all official, and all gen1 stuff about 50 cars in there, they were re ordering the other day when i baught it, and they normally have an ad in the ads on this forum, it shows up sometimes thanx, not bien nasty above btw

ok sorry, anyway goto Midland Model Centre i think it is.. angon ill edit if its rung, that the place i got it from XD just search for Xmods in the search bar and Tahdah ull see what i meen XD

Site opened fine for me??? Not too sure yet on the whole gen 1 or 2 thing but they have some nice stuff that isnt at any shack around here. And it says officially licensed xmods. NIB.

You can get NIB xmods from Ebay or Xmods International gen 1's, evos, even gen ones from Japan

Thats kinda funny...as of 30 seconds ago the Source by Circuit City has brand new xmods skylines in stock.

EDIT... i used the store locator and no stores in america have them in stock but they can still be bought nib online.

Edit2...bottom line, you dont have to go to the source or rs.
