If you cant find that/have a caulking gun, I bet hot glue would do. Just keep it off the electronics... learned that the heard way with an older 1/10 truck I was building

Seems the heat of them just ruins the electronics. Other than that, its a viable insulation.

Since when? High Torque motors ussually put MUCH less stress on the EP, the motor just needs to be geared right, and it doesn't even get warm...

Not entirely. Sweed if you use a gear box, the motor is spinning at full RPM most the time, whether your using a tamiya box, servo, or lemo solar. And when your not using gear boxes, then the motor has to strain to get up stuff with its lack or torque.

See what I mean?

why not go with die-electric grease?
it's cheap, water proof, can be found at any auto store, non conductive and can easily be washed off with rubbing alcahol and a small brush.

you could do like waht i did... i used plastic wrap, tape, and two small pieces of straw... put the straws someplace in the top of the body so that if submerged water wont enter the straws... have one for cold-air (inlet) and the other as exhaust(outlet)
