Sig and Avatar not uploading
I can't upload or hotlink to sig pics. When I try uploading it leads me back to CP without any changes to my sig. When I put the URL in to a hosted pic it gives me this error:
"Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Read error! in /includes/class_image.php on line 2095" and it tells me "File Invalid" (obviously a board file, not my jpg image) I can't upload or hotlink to avatar pictures either... same problems Last edited by asda653; 07-20-2009 at 02:15 AM..

i just tried it ans successfully changed mine 3 times, anyone else having this issue?

i think just allowing [IMG] codes would be better and less of a problem.. but its just 1 man's opinion.. oh and flickr doesnt work either

The way the site is setup at the moment you can't embed images into your signature you have to use the Vbulletin Signature uploader thingy...
I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you, maybe it has something to do with whatever group you are in, after all you are a fairly new member so you only have basic site access. I'll look into allowing images to be embedded, my only concern is that then we can't limit the size and I don't want people abusing it and putting 800 x 600 images in for their signature.

you can make it so a mod or admin needs to approve it? and if the sizes are off you tell them OR you can just send them a warning PM and if they dont change it.. just give them infraction points?

OK I've modified the board settings so that you can link to images using the [ IMG [/ IMG] tags, the usual form rules apply so please try not to abuse this privilege.
To the original poster I would be interested in seeing the name of and path to the file you wanted to use as a signature image maybe you can PM me the link and I can look into this further.
