Wow... you've done a lot in 45 days. It looks sick! I'm not a motorcycle guy, but that is one seriously nice ride!

Or a very short ride, I still have concerns about your oil system. Remember that the screen is the last step in the oil system, meaning, if crud and parts of the filter were in the screen that they had to be pushed through the rest of the oil cavities. Also, the oil pressure sensor senses pressure off of the pump, meaning this is no guarantee that all the other parts are being lubricated. Locking an engine up while riding is not fun (unless someone is videotaping it).

Right, but where is the last place the oil ends up? in the pan, so if the filter came apart and you found pieces of it in the screen, it had to go everywhere else first. Meaning that after the pump picks up the oil, the last place it ends up is the oil pan. The filter is after the screen, so if parts of it ended up in the screen, those same parts went everywhere else first.

uhhhh, why are you going to risk it?
you've stated yourself on multiple occasions that you don't know much about the bike and it's clear from your previous posts that you don't exactly understand what's going on with the bike but yet you're still going to test ride it even though BART has pointed out that you may still have some MAJOR problems?
that's just dumb man.
i don't care how much you spend,if you keep on like this, this bike will be sitting right beside that 600 in similar shape...

i love how you profess to to know it inside and out and then carry on to how it magically broke itself again.
give me a break tex, just because you read something doesnt mean you actually know what's going on.

take yer *** on down to napa because apperantly NAPA is THE PLACE for motorcycles.
you don't have any bike shops in that town of yours??????

oh no,7 years old and snapped.....
DUDE, my bike is older then you and your girlfreind put together.
don't give me that 7 yrs old crap.
if you snagged the rubber then that's your own **** fault.
don't profess to be a wizz when you've only had the bike for a little over a month and have continually asked and ignored the advice of (so far)the only person on the forum to own a ninj900.

Play nice. Both of you. Next step out of line in my point of view receives infraction points; no ifs ans or buts about it.

Bondo, it's his money, his life and his ****. He can do with it as he pleases. All we can do is offer him advice. If he doesn't take it tough crap. Is it your money he's spending? Is it your life? No. Back off.

SPR, all he's trying to do is help. There may be points where it seems confrontational, but we're all only trying to help. The last thing any of us want to do is see someone we know get screwed or screw themselves. You can either heed the advice or go about it on your own. Obviously, since you're posting here, you probably want a second opinion. But that just may be me.

Now, either play nice or I'm assigning infractions, I don't care if it's you two or someone else who wants to chime in nonchalantly. Period.

Cheers,
Kyle.

look man,proof positive.
go back through this thread and look at all of the advice given.
look at all of it that you've ignored.
look at the extra dollars that you've spent because of it.
get off your horse and see that yes, i have made mistakes.......ya dumb****,why do you think i'm here in the 1:1 telling people about them?
i like to brag about myself....................well.......that and the fact that i don't like to see people do the same dumb**** that i did.

@donzii, if you can't see the reasoning behind my posts then you might aswell go ahead and perma ban me because i'm not gonna change because you tell me to.

EDIT:
KAWA dealer and bike shop are two completely different things man.
if you were an "expert" you would know this.

i'm glad you brought up the part about the carb cleaner.
a few posts after that you said that it was infact the gunked up carbs that were holding you back.
guess what paco?
that sta-bil and carb cleaner would have done the job.
"oh,no, that wouldn't work because it isn't getting gas to begin with"
guess what fackoos...
that enzymatic sta-bil would have turned that varnish you called gas back into something that would have fired and the carb cleaner would have dissolved the "gunk" in your jets to let you fire properly.....ask me how i know this......

but yea,i don't know what i'm talking about and some 20yr old punk who bought a bike a month ago knows more then me....

EDIT:
if you don't have a custom bike shop then oregon sucks *** and is WAY behind every other city in america.

sorry about that gearhead but since i'm no longer staff,i have only 2 PM's available......
