Wheel Alignment
Hi,
I have an Evo Xmod I have put a number of the RadioShack upgrade parts onto it but am having trouble with getting it to go in a straight line - it seems like the wheels are loose and wobble but no matter what I do I just cant seem to get them tight. In the end I decided to give up on this being a straight line car and work on making it handle the curves, so I swapped out the tie rod to the 4.5 degree one, however it would be nice to know what I have done wrong! Is it just a case of the stock knuckles suck? Should I upgrade to metal ones? Thanks.

I hope to read some reply to this also because when I was about to decide if I get a Gen1 or an Evo i remember that this was discussed, the fact that the Evo have more problem going in a straight line.
Hopefully, not all of them don't suffer this and I cross my fingers for mine to be ok on that. I went for the Evo because the electronic was more mature and turn radius is much better. |

in my experience i have found out that both gen 1 and evo have that problem. you can align them but they will go back the same way when you turn off your remote control.
