so a few days ago, im at whitemkiv house and i go to leave and i here a POP!
and the steering wheel moved freely. well the power steering assist broke.
it gos on the bottom of the steering wheel column. so i went to the
local junk yard and found a maverick and the part i
need is on it. so the next day i go with some tools and start to
take is apart. i get to the last bolt and head of the bolt is rounded away and rusty
and wouldnt buge. man i was ****t. brand new there three hunderd
dallors. so tomorrow im going to a swamp meet and my hopes
are up. but then to top it off, my starter locked up and now it wont start,

gotta LOVE! old cars, which i do. im just mad
because i cant drive it.

Get some 3M penetrating lube. And invest in a really good impact wrench and breaker bar. All you'll need to bust old bolts loose.

weel just got back from the swap meet. no luck on the steering part. but i did find a new grill, all the chrome, and some other odds and ends.

but back to the new grill. it looks brand new, it had all the
turn signals and brackets to mont it. payd $35. but i decided
to paint it high gloss black. so i did, it looks bad ***, not one run
or dirt spot.

well a long time back, i found a guy in goerga, he has
three comets in his junk yard. so i got tuns of parts.
so i get to my brothers house (he also lives up there)
and im looking at my parts, but one part was a kind of new
front bumper. so i make my way home the next day
and i relize i left my bumper in my brothers garage. man i was
pist. but my uncle went up there this past week end and
brought down my bumper , so ill add pics tomorrow(my battery are charging)
but its got alittile rust but its all striaght and no dents
which what i wanted.

I kinda like it. Its not that bad. My favorit part is learning how to weld. I feel its alot of fun. But i like working on the old cars more than the newer. I lust like the sense of history on the car.

Ya the antena hole i welded up.

But see i like both body work and grease engine work. Nothin like getting your hands dirty and seeing what you can creat with your hands.

k good!

body work is where the creation is at. thats when you really make stuf with your hands from scratch. Motor work is just put it together and hope it runs good!

Lol, true. but i enjoy both. But once i get done with the fenders ill be making my own floor boards. We have a thing at my school that you can put body lines in a peace of metal so you can make it stronger. That will be fun, thats where the fun of creating comes in.
