whats resistors are you going to use if your not using the board? its going to be more hassle without the board because for every led you will need a resistor. and there have been people add many, man lights to a cll board and run it just fine. and you can do a mod so you dont get the "flickering" from the cll kit. not sure what your getting at here, trying to reinvent the wheel? search for bondo's police truck. he had a bunch of lights on that if i remember right.
bottom line, it would be easier to add more led lights to a cll board, and do the constant headlight mod rather than trying to build your own harness.

or you can run it from all from a 3 volt button battery
compact, and you can put a mini-switch under your rear bumper
wire in parallel and use 3 mm.

3 volts is the standard running voltage for 3mm and 5mm led's and it's enough for god knows how many led's, as long as you hook em up in parallel,
1. radioshack
2. old toy or radioshack
3. thought you already had blue led's! you can either order them from xi or get em from radioshack.

and read some led FAQ, because they only light up when electricity goes through them 1 way. going the other way, they don't light up.

http://www.theledlight.com/ledcircuits.html
read this. it'll help you figure out how to hook up LED's if you get the type that doesn't have wires presoldered.
