you could but probably last 2 minutes and might fry your board.
Take the battery clips off. Use the (-) and (+) and attach it to your 9 v battery. Pretty simple; you can also buy the 9 v batter clips on radio shack. I think they come in a pack of 4 or 6.

Pointless. They have to low of a drain and the voltage is to high. Unless you have a modded board and a hot motor that can handle more than 8volts. Your better using Li Polies.

Look at this eBay aution:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Xmod-EVO-Electro...QQcmdZViewItem

This is a perfect example of how a 9V battery in used in a Xmod to give it a power boost! Note. That it does not replace the primary power supply of the car! Also note that they are charging $26 for this item! Two more weeks of my paper round and I could buy a Lith kit from atomicmods.com which will give me far more power!

hmmmm... that ebay auction is in violation of federal and international trademark laws. NOS is a trademarked name, and I bet they did NOT pay to use the term in their product's advertising. They are allowed to use the common name "nitrous oxide" though.

I know this doesn't help your question, so I guess I will get to the topic at hand...

If you use 9 volt batteries to power your motor, you'd better expect to spend a fortune playing with your car!

unless you plan to spen more than $150 on your evo trying to fix it dont use them. go for the woah nelly turbo's intead. they wont fry your board but you do need to have at least a stage 2 motor.
