That there sexy new 370Z makes me overlook the crystal change and the no body kits and actually want a new xmods street. One might think that since the body doesn't have mounting posts and screws for bumpers, side skirts and hood that it actually might be a bit lighter than previous bodies. HMMMM... lighter = faster. This might be a good thing. Mini-z bodies don't have interchangeable body parts.

Spitfire beat me to it.
Here's my inside shell pic: My front clip is shaved to lower it. Need to shave the back too. Below I added the 350Z's spoilers Next to cut sideskirts and add 350Z Mild skirt and front. Shave off the duckbill spoiler too. Need a new paint job after all these. Scratched it already, while putting on the spoilers. Any suggestion on the color??? go with a nice color. nothing like, shocking extreme. just a nice color that people appreciate. blue is respectable, and so is grey or black. white is hard to pull off, but white looks amazing as well. just chose a color you like, and go for it

Seeing as they don't make bodykits anymore, you would need to fabricate one yourself. Using putty, glue, styrene, paint etc...

Wait, what the hell is up with those three screws? Did you put them there yourself? Or were they there all the time?... They seem to not have a lot of use...

Well, if you read the descriptions he wrote, he shaved the clip thingy so im pretty sure the screws are used to keep the car closer to the body(aka: lower it)

then your lazy *** shouldnt be moddin' Mr. W.
jk but really, bodykits were gone when the street version came around. and bodykit capability also adds lots of weight, so the street version is faster by simple method of weight reduction it also adds consistency and a lower drag coefficient because the air doesnt stagnate as much in bodyshell seams

How many of us cares about that ? Blah, if were serious about racing we'll pick up Mini-Z's or buy one of their bodies, Xmods are targeted at kids who likes to customize cars...

well, besides that point, a 1-piece bodyshell provides you a more solid base to do body mods. xmods are about mods? ok. then the fixed crystal is one thing you can mod so you can swap crystals, the whole thing just is more durable, so more modding, fewer lazy modders in the hobby if the shells are 1-pieced because people mod the shells to their own personal style.
ok, so not many people here care about the racing aspect as much. and others do, but just cant go off buying a mini-z. i know i don't have 130 bucks lying around. i have 65 bucks lying around. that's just enough for an xmod and some materials to mod with. i never have more than that amount available to me, and often i have much less available to me...like 0 dollars available for xmods. and since i'm still a minor, i'm not going to be able to buy a mini-z without my parents going 200% volcano since i already have used so much already

The car is lowered remember? the two screws up front allow adjustability in body/shell height, while the 3rd screw is kind've just there... at least that's my guess.
