Default My GT-R

Started working on my Gt-R today at work so far i i got the paint work done. going to be doing the Lithium battery and stack the fets and get a bigger motor and put in the bearings. So here are so pics so far.

you didnt sand it first? glad it turned out pretty decent, im not a fan of flat colors. but atleast it was layed out nicely!

I did get a little orange peel and i did sand it i did it in three stages i used 120grit than 220 grit and last a 320 grit i have some pics of it when i was done sanding.




And as ghetto as it looks heres are spary tent at the wood shop

well ya did a good job sanding, spray your coats a little thinner next time and you shouldnt get that nasty orange peal.

you know what the skin of an orange looks like? all bumpy and stuff? its when your paint as that same effect, as in its not a flat smooth paint job.

Print some stickers. Try dark gray over the black like DK's from Tokyo Drift. That 350 was sexay.

read tutorials dude, don't just act like they aren't there.
they're stickied for a reason- for people new to this to READ.
it's held on by melted plastic tabs, like the headlight lenses are.
the tailight lenses are held on by a screw, and you'll have to unscrew the rear bodyclip and that screw, then push the taillights from the outside of the shell to get them loose.

theres a few melted tabs on the inside roof where the plastic hold onto the windows. just locate them and carefully use the hobby knife to cut the melted "mushrooms" and you'll be able to pop the windows out.

but seriously, read all the tuts first.

What paint did you use? I do like this semi-gloss flat color.
