as chux said its alot of work......i spend hours a day on xms editing and deleting and well basically moderating stuff...as you can see i rarely post unless needed because im a true believer in spamming is ***.

Hey hey i'd like to be a moderator. I've been on the site for a little while, and i'd like t work in the electronics or real cars forums the most, but i'll take anything. I'm on everyday cuz i'm alwys doin hw online.

I'm pretty new here but i really like what is going on at this site and i would like to contribute. I would like to mod the Beginner and/or the regional sections of the forum. Keep me in mind i think i have a lot of things to offer to XMS site.Thanks for keeping me in mind.

Well you guys do a great job keeping it free from spam, and flame. Having more moderators would take a lot of load off your backs. You need a vaction!!lol

well...thank you. we're doing a decent job on that front. but there's a lot of maintenance that needs to be done. I've spent about 8 hours on here each of the last 3 or 4 days. writing the new rules page, compiling FAQs, etc. and I'm not even close to done. so it would be really nice to have some other people keeping an eye on the regular posts so we can work more on the other stuff...

but rest assured. because of the fact that we're getting a bunch of people to help out. the newer moderators won't have that much work. no more than 45 minutes to an hour a day would probably be plenty.

We've got a pretty good list of potential candidates....so we'll be picking people soon.

Agreed %100. Also these new moderators will only have the moderator status not super mod, which means you cant ban and you dont have a control panel like super mods/admins. You will be assigned a forum(s) and can delete post, merge posts, delete topics, edit post, ect.. for that selected forum you are in charge with. I just though Id let you guys know that.

Good thing too. It's almost certain that if someone goes from member to supermod, they will abuse their power some way. On one site, they made me moderator, and we had a thing called "Council" and it was pretty much super mod but with a little more features, and they took our teams only moderator, so I took his spot as mod and then he abused his power within like a week (banned a kid for personal reasons, nothing against forum rules) and he got kicked so I had to take his spot, and it was pretty overwhelming because I went from member to a high rank in controls in a week and council had duties over the whole site so it was like . But they shut the DF2 division down so I had to step down.
