Default the hatch

well now that i finished project 62 i guess i can roll into another one. converting these models is a great challenge. well here is the civic hatch model that i picked up just for the wheels on project 62. here are the mock ups so far. having to make a custom chassis for this one...

no idea on paint yet. but i got time to figure this one out. its going to take a bit of work on the chassis alone. definitely not going to do si blue(i have enough blue cars now lol). i'm not even sure the rims are going to stay chrome.

I agree with both of those statements. Si blue is sort of played out and I would go with some other color to really make it unique and stand out. Chrome wheels look awful on most Japanese car models in my opinion, so it would be nice to see them in a different color. Good luck!

Eww a civic. J.k J.K J.K. I'm not the biggest Honda fan, however this looks like it's going to be a fun project. Where did you get that main chassis piece from? Is it from a model as well or just some random plastic. I recommend either black, red, or orange, because as Driftko said, "Si Blue is played out."

Yeah, not really a honda fan either. Especially not the civic. But this does look like an interesting project. I cant wait to see how the chassis turns out.

the main chassis piece is from the model. im going to pick up some standoffs today to support the rear and the board later today. im challeging myself to step it up each build and get better and better each time.

Nice, always like the Honda lunchboxs. I have the Type R model still in the box waiting to be build. Wanted to build it to match my 05 Si never got around doing it. Hope your project turns out awesome.

nice, it looks like a traditional civic hatch i'd see wiz by us. Now you just need a folgers can for an exhaust. lol. The paint Job looks great btw. Are you planning on running lithium in this car?
