got my wheels and awd kit today!!!! just waiting on the stilly, motor (went with xeric awd), fets and shocks to get here.

took everything apart to paint some of the chassis parts tomorrow

they arrived!!!!

here the wheels after paint (took my time to make sure i didnt mess them up)

put some of the chassis back together. just couldnt wait to see what the wheels would look like on the car (no shocks on it thats why it sits so low)

nice clean workstation (ok i cleaned it up for the pic lol)

what do you guys think?

why would i lock my diffs. im doing road course style racing not drag racing. i want to be able to go around turns and locking the diffs reduces your cornering since both wheels will be traveling the same speed and through a turn you want the outside wheel to be able to travel faster than the inside wheel. so to answer your question: no

actualy my track cars have locked rear differentials, i've found that as you go into a trun the outside wheel gains traction and the inside wheel looses alot of traction, most of the time causing it to spin faster then the outside wheel and it make the car not turn as sharp, and at a lower speed because most of the power is going to a wheel thats barely touching the ground, and spinning rapidly

just my opinion, goodluck

I know I have seen a limited slip type diff out there for xmods but I can't remember where I saw them. I tried googling it but can't find it now. Anybody know anything bout this?

I believe you can tighten the atomic diffs enough to get a "limited slip" type effect. I don't have them for my Xmod but the atomic diffs for my Mini-Z can be tightened almost to the point of locking.
I know the gen1 Xmods had a limited slip diff that came with the AWD kits, but they weren't very good as I recall.

this is almost 2 months old.
and the lenses you lush out from the inside of the body. just cut off the melted stuff and use a small screwdriver to push out on the pins.

you glue it back in from the backside. use normal white glue or glue made specifically for clear parts to avoid fogging up the lens

Stop bumping old threads, you can find your answers in the search box. But to avoid "I couldn't find it" BS, yes you can use the light kits, as you are removing just the lense.
