My New STi Project

Hey everyone. I wanted a new project and decided to go with a custom STi. I have to mod the model once it gets here, but it looks sweet. Let me know what you think.

Update:

the company finally shipped the model. I got a tracking number today. I should probably expect it at the end of next week. I can't wait to get started on it.

New day, new update:

So I was watching a rally race today and saw Ken Block's car. And at that moment I decided to try and do the same paint scheme on this 03 STi, as KB has on his 07 STi. It's going to be tough, but I have a new paint set, air brush and materials, so I am set.

Mind I ask, how are the past two updates even considered a update ? Hardly an update or even thread worthy without pictures of the model kit in your hands. Why not just wait till you recieve the model then make the thread and updating it. Looks like your just trying to find random stuff to put in your thread hoping you'll get some attention.

I am telling you what I am going to do so that when I get it and start it no one says:"Where did that Idea come from?" What's the big deal anyway. I'm following the rules on posting an update. And if I get an idea, I'm gonna post it.

its cool to post ideas and get feedback from the community before you even get started. maybe someone can give you some ideas that will help you plan things out and the build go smoother. thats just my two cents

Your two cents is good. That's why I was posting. I like to plans things out before they happen, and your right, I hope I do get some ideas, and tips before I start.

and the first 3 posts of this thread are all yours, you could have easily used the edit button for your "updates"...

thats ur opinion. yes he should post pics but at the same time hes just telling us his plans and showing his excitement. give him that. Just make sure that you post up pics Cory.

Xmodsunlimited and I r not new at this. We have been customizing xmods since they came out. I'll try to post pics with the updates when I actually get the car. In the mean time: LAY OFF! I am posting my ideas to keep everyone happy and not wondering what the heck is happening with this project. It will be here soon, but in the mean time u all have to wait. Ok! :P

hey now, projects are supposed to have pics, and i dont care if your new at this or not, your updating the thread without pics. people do like SEEING whats going on with projects. you can describe something to best of your ability, but a pictures worth 1000 words.
and if you dont have the car why update? why didnt you wait until you had the car? ok :P

and i dont care if you've been here a day or 12 years, spam posts are spam posts.

When he said "new" he ment new to the forum also. Saying "LAY OFF" to mods and admins is not a good way to get anywhere here.. We where all new here at once and we couldnt wait to start projects and threads and all that but once you get the hang of the forum you will see how things are run here and how people LOVE!! pics lol
