Lining all seams with black or some other dark color.

actually, to answer this and a couple other questions, its done with rattle can (spray paint) its krylons new paint and when i spray i do like 5 very light coats and the body lines just turn out like that. so i guess this is for all of you who say that you dont get great results wiyhout airbrush. thanks for all the comments, i worked hard to get it to look like this!!

reason being is that the seams can't be sanded, so the paint fisheyes the seams; it doesn't get stuck in the seams and fill them up. that's why it seems like there's panel lining, but really there's not.

I didnt sand any of it.. Just cleaned it to get the oils off from touching it, and sprayed.

but some oils stay in the seam, so the paint shies away from the seams, letting you keep the detail.

Hope that paint is lead free. I thought you were going to make the whole evo car it self, not just paint it to look like it.

well if you mean the insides to, i did say that i was still waiting on the lift suspension and carbon shaft from DRFTKO and also that i was gonna do a 5th cell and put neos in the motor (which i decided to go stage 2) i will update as it comes along. i just posted the pics of it so far because without the parts i need, all i can do is paint it.. SO, updates to come. oh yeah, and what decade do you live in where they still make lead paint?

i was going to but if you look in the earlier replies bkfdsxmods apparently already did so i thought i would put my own spin on it. i like it this way, it looks better i think! and besides, i dont want to replicate what someone else already has. when he posted those pics my mouth dropped because i really thought about doing something different to get the attention of this forum and when i get the idea, its been used. everytime i post something, it just gets ignored or the "looks good dude" comment. keeping up with you all on here is not an easy task! you guys have some pretty cool s*it! so i just wanted to do you all proud by doing something that makes ME proud to show off... but thanks for the comments! they are appreciated!!

im not really a big fan of the decals, but they were necessary for this build. maybe more, but i dont want it to look gaudy. Howver, i did replace the head and taillights with the ones from the widebody kit because they have the smoked look to them and it looks much nicer now!

got bored today and was lookin around on xmf and found this:
http://xmodsforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4189
so i tried it and WOW i have like almost 1/2 inch clearance on the battery box! i havent even got my lift suspension yet and keep in mind that its with the double-tire mod that i done. also, i did the power switch by-pass. it even runs in my gravel driveway! and i did add more decals and still kept it "tasteful". i will post pics tomorrow of the new ride height and decals.. (vote for this build)
