THe link helps a bit. I was confused about wiring it. You don't have to take out the other servo do you? I know it will leave some weight but i don't want to take that much of the car apartright now.

Small Update

I will probably do a steering mod. Today i have sanded down the body and dremeled a bit to make the wheel wells look even with the tires as well as do some more putty work. Maybe a wide body kit and flip the battery case. Sorry no pics yet.

Edit: and i am probably going to lower it tooo. depends on how much space i have under the body if i do an steering mod and flip the battery case.

I wish you alot of luck, this is gonna be tight. Having a servo plus the battery tray on top might be a little pain in the arse.

But maybe you could try to install the servo underneath the chassis...I might try aswell and comme back to you when I'll test it.

I might not flip the battery case because Suicides crawler flips over a lot. And with the gearbox, 6 cell and 360 degree articulation mine flips over quite a bit other wise it is just fine.

Thanks for the comments.

That might be good idea with the servo underneath. I don't know what i am doing yet. I will probably do a steering mod. I just don't want to mess something up and ruin the car.

Thanks for the comments.

I won't be able to do much this week because i have school, school clubs, and soccer.I only have the 30 minutes i have before dinner and after school. I have a four day weekend this week so i will be able to mount the body and get the servo.

Update:
THe body is sanded again and look better. Put another layer of putty on so it should be commin along. THe hood is a pain to work with but it is commi along too.

My liscense plate on the truck when i am done is gonna be the one in my sig but shortened to "crwln ovr u"

Update:
I haven't mounted the truck bed because i have the wrong materials. I will get them later.

c1v1c: i have lowered the body about 4mm. I used a combination of suicide's and xmodification's front and rear clips. Thanks guys.

Edit:got my aluminium.(not magnetic, yes) Gonna work on it later. I picked up some radline motors(crazy torque, cant turn car fast enough) for my radline and maybe try the motor in the gearbox.

pics later.

Seems like it's coming along nicely. I cant wait for pics, but only one question. Does the radline motor have more torque then a 180 hyper torque motor? and how's the speed compared to a S2 w/ 8:24? gearing?

dontspamme: I can't give you all the details because i don't really know. But i do know that a radline ELITE series has a 20,000 rpm's stock, the motor pack has a 22,000 24,000 and a 26,000 rpm's with varied gears. I know they have way more torque than a s2 with neo mags for sure. I don't have a 180 so ya. I haven't put them in a xmod yet.

Thanks for the comments. Starting tooo mount it as i type(putty is drying)

Xmodkid33: i can't really tell you because i have had school and have been on and off with this project for a while so about 2 months? 3-4 months i have been thinking of a crawler and i got the truck for x-mas in 06 or 07.

Update!

I used an aluminium piece and glued it to the truck bed, drilling 2 holes in it. The chassis i used a stock front sus. plate and fliped it upside down then glued it to the wishbone. THen i used 2-56 screws and nuts to get the right ride height. THen rerouted the motor wire to articulate all the way.
Pics:

ENjoy. More updates to come. Comments welcome. Would of had more pics but they turned out really blury.

Nice idea. Clean up the edges a bit and it'll look better than it does. What color(s) are you thinking for paint?
