I agree, it does look good, for that truck. If it were a sleek, newer version, I would have shave the motor down and created a scoop over the top of it,the hinged the hood so that it would reveal the whols beast.
But that is for a newer truck. It looks excellent sitting like that in your truck. I don;t know about the paint, I guess it would probably look better with dirt and mud all over the tires and fenders! Looks great though, RedSXmodder |

yep, I'll be painting the wipers.
and I've been thinking about painting the butterflies on the intake, but I'm afraid I'll botch it.... Here's what I'm thinking for the spare tire mount: A) no spare tire B) on the tonneau C) on the tailgate (off center so the trailer hitch can still be used...) only problem is...now with the lift installed, the trailer hitch is too far off the ground. and the trailer only rides on the rear 2 wheels. |

Screw the tire. I just think the only rightful spot for it would have to have been the center of the tailgate.
lol, my opinion again. RedSXmodder |

i wouldnt worry about messing anything up. just use acrylic paint and a sharpened toothpick. have a few wet q-tips handy to clean any muckups. you really fancy and paint the bolt heads on the supercharger and pulley and the liscence tag lights those are the kind of details you dont usually see in an xmod repaint. keep us posted man, bondo

I was at wal-mart, getting the cobra model that was to be my other project (which doesn't look like it's going to work....), and picked up a nice stiff detailing brush. so I painted the butterflies...
