Default motor question

somebody gave me a motor that they said was for a slot car. its a little long, but would probably mount on a xmod.

does anyone know if this motor would be bad for stock fets?
the info i have on the motor is PARMA PSE

i bench checked it and it seems to have alot of torque. i dont want to mount it on the car until i can find out if it would damage it first

More info would help a little. A picture would be great too. Does it look like this one? - Mabuchi FF-180PH/SH

Get a multimeter and check out how much it draws, or just do a fet upgrade, and you won't have to worry about your fets frying.

I now have a question for you and an answer to your question. The answer to your question is 2.5 amps roughly. Remember, stall the motor too (meaning stop the shaft while there's stil voltage going in) just to make sure if you try a burnout, you won't burn your fets.

My question to you: who is fluke 88?

Ahhhhh, why didn't you say you had a multimeter? So many people make them. Yeah, it should work.

Yep. It's when something happens that isn't supposed to and doesn't happen often.
