Default check this mountainbiker out!

Some of you may have seen this already but I thought it deserved sharing...this kid has some unbelievable skill at urban trials riding.

I don't have sound on my computer, but why does he do this on a mountain bike when he could use a bmx with like more than half the weight? i mean what he does is pretty cool because its a mountain bike but, i think common sens should have told him go with a bmx (just my honest opinion, everyone is entitled to there own).

Why be a conformist when you can be an individual? What he's doing on a mountain bike most people can't even try to do on a BMX bike. To me he's got guts to even try it on a mountain bike, let alone succeed at the level he has!

Trial biking is most often done with MTB. Larger wheels means more stability and in the case if there is suspension it helps transfer power. Also the rider could be a MTB'er 1st and a trial rider 2nd, sticking with what he knows.

Plus the larger and (possibly) heavier MTB makes his feats a bit more impressive as it's not typically done with a MTB.

This guy can put a lotta guys to shame at X-Games!

I was saying if he was running shocks, it's often times used to help build up bounce. I see him running straight forks though

I have a couple friends here in town that have moved their interests from mountain biking to trials motocross...the only reason i haven't is i'm not a big fan of engine noise while in the forest (same goes for snowmobiling).

i ride (if you can call it that nowadays ) a Specialized P3 hardtail with front forks floydfan...a good mix of everything without too much high speed descending.

The reason there's no suspension on Ryan's bike is because in competitive trails mountainbiking you want to be able to place your wheels and stick them there...extraneous wheel movement would throw balance and timing off and ruin the stunt.

Ski, snowboard and telemark...in the winter I'm a triple threat.

Give me a yell if you make it up here...as long as you're not a "park rat" I'll go ride with ya.
