Default drive shaft weight reduction mod

this is what i did and it really works

i replaced my drive shaft with the ink tube of a pen. i had shave it down to fit but it works great it doesnt' bind or twist on me.

just dont add anymore power to it lol
but if your running RWD its ok for quite a while..but if your running AWD it will twist its self apart...

I took a piece of 1/8” aluminum TIG welding rod, cut it to length, chucked it up in a hand drill and turned down the diameter of the ends with a piece of sand paper about .05mm., just were the bearing ride so they slid on easily. Filed a “D” shape on both ends and it’s been working great. I went from over 8grams to just 1.5 grams. It's cheep and it's easy...

well the carbonfiber drivelines are only 5 bucks! the stock G35 driveline weighs 5grams, my carbon fiber 1 weighs 0.9grams.......
