God Darn Slow A$$ Car!!!
hey guys im really frustrated right now cause i just got my xmod yesterday but because i didnt get reachargeables yet , so i just got some panasonic alkalines today, but this car goes slower than the freaking zip zaps that my friend has.... i mean like wtf is wrong, all i did was locking the rear diff(cause i wanna drift)i checked wires and wheels nothing seems to be wrong help please!!! anything will be apreciated :-)

chill with the language, an non rechargeable batts go dead quick you may have messed somethin up in the diff by locking it make sure the wheels are spinning nicely make sure the motor is spinning

sory bout the language im just realy frustrated. anyways the car didnt even go fast when i first put on the batts, and when i lift up the car the wheels spin real fast, it just has realy slow accel
k one more question, my car will only turn completely to the left but itll only turn somewhat to the right, what could be wrong and the car goes straight when going forward but doesnt go straight when reverse dont double post ~909 Last edited by BlackSky909; 10-21-2006 at 01:45 AM..

and your problem is your motor mount i've had the same problem but to fix the steering just adjust it on the top of the controller

but it shouldnt be like that slow tho even if its not a stage 2 or 6 cell upgrade.
also in one of the tuts on drifting, i think it said that you dont actually need a stage 2 to drift, stage 1 is plenty. so guys i dont think i have found my problem yet.

u can wit a stage 1 im now but i got awd i think there slow stock how fast do u think its going to 2 rs and get a bat holder for like 2bucks and i put a link how 2 make it a 6 cell thats for a evo if u need gen1 let me no and i will put one for it oh your have 2 break it in 2 the motor play wit it for about a hour i did a stage one last nite it may be better for drif i dont no still trying out thing 2 fine my setup

hey man thanks. i was thinking about this car and i took it apart and still found nothing wrong with it, i did play with it for a while...slowly cause i read about breaking in the motor thing, but it doesnt seem to work
 i figured something out, i dont knwo if you guys know this already, i was playing with my graphing calculator and found a equation to find out the theoreticle speed of the car. here it is: rpm of motor/gear ratio*circumference of tires ( stock ones are 2pi R, radius is 1.2cm, circumference turns out to be 7.5cm=0.075m)*0.06=speed in km/h you guys probably know this but what he hell ill just put it on here. so the stock car's theoretical speed ( without resistance) is about 20km/h
