Silverlade 2.0 (Sorry, no updates, when i get some, I will make a new thread)
I am closing this thread. If you have any further questions or comments about the silverlade, please PM. Unless I open a new thread by the time you this message. Then just post it there.
Ok, so I've been out of it for a while, and went to out the Chesterfield to the hobby shop and saw a good Escalade model I wanted to use on this. Its a EXT model. Heres a pic of it from Tower Hobbies, I couldn't find the box, my room is really messy. so here is what i have. I cut off the whole front end of the silverado cab, right at the front of the door. I cut the same piece off of the Escalade, and they seem to fit pretty good, I just have to get some putty to fit it. The tape is temporary, obviously. and heres the rims im gonna use. and I think I have an idea for the duallies (scroll down for the truck I am modeling this after. I am doing same paint job.) edit - Now I have to work out the rear end, I am trying to get the Escalade taillights, and I am going to put the tailgate from the EXT on it too, so the only way to tell it is a chevy is the small emblem on the side.

yea mine is a single cab, well now anyways, it was an extended, but i dont have any money left, and cant find anything to make an extension for my chassis, so i chopped it to make it fit.
im just gonna paint it how it is in the pic, but with out the second set of doors, of course.

I like it personally im not that much of a fan of low riders but it looks like it is going to be a good looking outcome.

well anyway, UPDATE. Ok so, i think i figured out how to put the Escalade tail lights on it. I just need to trim them down a little bit and get some putty. sorry, the pics dont have flash because when i used flash, it lit up the white parts so you couldnt see anything.
