yea i did that paint job today so its real nice and there is about 6 coats on it, its my shelf queen and i have another hood that the scoop is even with the hood line:
i might paint this the same color as my f150 to see what it looks like with a shorter scoop edit: i just painted a tonneau cover the black pearl and i painted the spoiler silver (idea by my friend sam) edit edit: should i put another of those exhausts on the other side as well? i have also done the exhaust i was going to do something else but it would be very time consuming but thanks for the comments, and the paint i used is the testors black pearl spray paint, and the testors silver spraypaint u can find them at walmart and the are $3 a can.
edit: i also did a matching tonneau cover thats black pearl and the spoiler is silver here it is, i think it looks better without the cover tho Last edited by xmodificationer; 06-18-2007 at 09:52 PM.. |

i think it only needs the exaust where you have it, its called sport truck exaust and only exits on the passenger side in dual tips so what you have is great. i'd like to see it with the shorter scoop and it might even look better with the hood from the bk painted to match, then it would be more of a ford and less of a corvette (better IMHO) other than that i thonk all it needs now is to be slammed to where the exaust touches the ground and you have yourself a very nice custom f150. im lovin the 2-tone black and silver paint. nice job man.

break out the dremmel and have at it! haha, i put the drop kit and car tires on mine and had to trim a couple parts on the bottom of the chassis so they didnt rub. after that it was all work under the body to make things fit right, and i dremmeled down the hub on the rim to make it sit in further so it would roll while low

oh, well the arms on my truck are actually angles upwards. i have regular screws in the top of the knuckles (the fronts are just loose enough to allow turning) suspension is basically useless, i kept it on the front and took it off on the rear. other than that idk what to tell ya. you'll have to trim some parts on the bottom of the chassis to have clearance

sounds like u just need to put the car tires on it and do the body drop then have fun with it, and if u mess it up and need a new body ive got one u can use if u dont wanna mess up the other ones u have

i dont really like it... no offence but it looks kinda wack... maybe if the scoop were molded to the hood better it wouldnt look so bad... the exhaust is way good lookin...
