Default another wild hair: Hummer gets a paint job

yep, i woke up yesterday and thought "its time to paint the hummer." i've been thinking about doing it for a while, and already had the paint from my old hummer that i never finished, so i rolled out of bed and started taking the body apart and taping it off.

now for some pics
Before:

After:

i think it turned out great, but i need to put some different calipers on it now haha, the blue doesnt really go. if i get another wild hair next weekend i might paint the spokes on the rims to match and give it the body drop it needs (those tires on XI are a little too pricey for something i hardly ever drive) i'll let you guys know if i do anything more to it, but for now it's done.

Looks really good. Very nice and clean. Now you have to paint the calipers red again. lol. I'd say get some super swampers or lower the body. A+++

That's a great paintjob. I would say paint the calipers white/silver so they can be used with anything. Paint the chassis parts as well.

THats a really nice paint job almost looks as godd as your AV, too bad you lost the small H2 badge, great job with that paintwhat would you call that color? if you decide to drop and make it more of DUB would you paint the black accesories maroon/red too? like the vents on the hood+back and the visor thing?

Looks like a great paintjob, mate. I'd also suggest painting the chassis parts; the orange really clashes with the beautiful, deep red.

thanks guys, this one wont get too much attention, but i am going to lower it a bit to make it more proportional to the size of the tires, and i do plan on painting the chassis parts black and spokes on the rims maroon though sometime, and maybe the calipers too. im not sure when i'll get to that.

i would call that color dark metallic red haha, but on the can it said it was some kind of cherry metallic or something like that.

That is a very nice paintjob and it looks really good on the Hummer. Did you use a rattlecan or airbrush?
