Default xmod range

my gen 1 only goes about a foot or 2 away from me and then it loses all its range. what did i do now?! i swear im not having much luck with these cars

must be fried, did you touch ur antenna with ur battery pack and cause a lot of smoke??

no smoke, i know it touched a wire, not sure about the battery pack. i swear this thing wont go but a foot away from me and it just cuts off, i was like...

yeah dont throw it out!!!! its a easy fix if you good at using a soldering iron, i would buy it off you or fix it for you if you wanted.

i can, but im not good. i actually had a thread up in beginners forums about how i messed up my first solder job on the battery pack of this same car
