Cool High Roller..

Hey guys, I know a lot of ppl will probably say this is a bit stupid but anyways I think it looks alright..I have a mitsubishi lancer with the bodykit gpm knuckles, awd, and more but today I bought the slammed rim upgrade for the trucks and I managed to fit them onto my car. I used the bodykit I didnt really like that much at first because I didnt want to mess up but anyways.. I used my brothers dremel kit and took off as little as I needed to make my car actually drive perfect. However I took some old car tires and stretched them around the rims because for the truck tires it looked really stupid on the car because there thick and I would have to widen the sides so much that it would be like a clown car. It took a little bit of patience because I had to get it just right so I would be able to turn fully. So yeah heres some pics so far.

Thats it and it can be driven regualarly, turns normally, everything.
I like this a bit better too just because I have stone pathways just put at my house so I can ride on that without wrecking the bottom of my car since its a bit raised now
Anyways let me know what you think. But if you really think its stupid dont start a war about it. Thanks.

I'll be honest, I'm not too fond of it. I'm sure someone will think it's pretty neat though .

Special technique? I dont know,...I just used a cylinder shaped sanding piece and went smoothly along the areas I needed to, to allow my car to be able to run smoothly but at the same time not taking off too much of the body kit that would leave it looking weird. If your doing your g35 (from your sig) I would reconsider doing this because since you cannot change your side fenders, like I can with the lancer, if you put the car rims back on it might look very odd because you will have large wheel areas with small rims. But anyways if you are going to still go with this. Use a dremel kit with a roundish or cylinder shaped sanding piece, go lightly along the areas needed until they are wide enough to give an even look and be very careful not to over sand areas on the inner part of the body( for the turning to be allowed) or else they may become too thin and break. You might also notice that on one side, on the chassis near the front gear box) you may need to sand a little bit to allow the wheel to move freely without any interference(to find this, just turn the wheels with your hands, and see where the tire might be rubbing, again be very careful doing this). Also I dont know if it is just my dremel kit or what but mine has different speeds, for mine a used one of the lowest ones just to be safe. But other than that good luck and hope you enjoy this small mod

I did use that, I was goin to lower it but then my g35 had the lowering kit and I didn't feel like taking it out or buying another one. Its still in it but I'm not sure what I should do. I'm hoping by the end of the summer I'll have gpm suspension dampers, steering protecter plate, front lock plate and rear skid plate. But I dont know, I'm kinda mad because I ordered rear gpm dogbones and they havent come yet from like a month ago. I wanted to get the bearing upgrade this week but my radioshack isnt selling them for some reason. Thats it so far.
See Ya,

yeah, I just got metal lock nuts today but the bit around them is smaller so I have to go back to the hobby shop to see if they have a tool for it, I managed to get them on with some plyers though, and I might pick up some stuff I just found this hobby shop so I'm not sure what all they have yet, its pretty cool. But hope you enjoy the big wheels QUICO217, the only thing I would watch out for is I noticed that if I hit a wall a little now, my car will sometimes flip, and make sure the car tires are on the best they can be because your rims will get scratched a little. Anyways see ya later,

Well first I bought the truck rim upgrade and..(read post #8, above^^^)
And be very careful doing it too or else you might wreck your car, and dont take a lot off the back, just so if you switch the bodykit and rims it doesnt look stupid.. I took the rims off my car and the wild kit for now and have the stock ones on and the mild kit but I can easily change it when I want to
anyways..
have fun,
