Default Bird in the yard!

For the past week or two there's been a birds nest right outside my window. Been watching those greedy bastards as the momma-bird brings food non-stop all day.

Finally today they pop out to explore the world.

Nest:

Momma-bird:

Fat baby:

His skinny *** siblings:

There is also a baby rabbit some where in the back yard. Last year I found a Christmas tree growing in the back yard too. Pretty magical backyard... now if only we could fix the hot tub... Our last idea wasn't the best idea.

Well earlier I had found a golf club that landed in my back yard.. So I was holding that while watching baby bird... Not the best image.

Video of the fat one poppin' around. Trying to fly-ish.

I'm not going to put bird. I just... happened to have a Fila J-100 Oversize in hand, while watching the baby pop around.

Sadly though, I could not train this fat one to do back flips like the original intention was.

My mom's kind of turned into an avid bird watcher. They have quite a few different ones that are always at their place (they live in the country). She told me they have had hummingbirds, blue jays, sparrows, morning doves, grackles, purple finches, gold finches, evening grosbeaks, chickadee, tri-color blackbirds (we're in NS, these are only supposed to be in California), red-wing blackbirds, brown headed cowbirds, rose breasted grosbeaks, dark eyed juncos, yellow rumped warblers, starlings, robins, barn swallows, northern flicker, hairy woodpecker, downy woodpecker, belted kingfisher, ring necked pheasant, merlin falcon, american kestrel, osprey, bald eagles, mallards, american black ducks, hooded merganser, Canada geese, american bittern, blue heron.

Also have a woodchuck, rabbits, raccoons, white-tail deer, and trout. Next time I'm at their place I'll try to grab some of the pics off the computer.

I'll save the pics and have my mom look them up in her bird book. She will be able to tell what they are I'm sure.

I really have no interest in birds either, but I have to hear about every Sunday when I'm there for dinner, free food so I can't complain .

EDIT: I have seen these ones at my Mom's house in their pond.....

Now, that's a 'fro.

Default lil spoof on pics -lol

I couldn't resist spoofing up those beautiful birdy pics of yours Tex

LOL - it's just a "Doctor Dolittle" touch to them

Nice nature pics btw, I had a nest like that infront of my home in Ohio - it was a nest with about 3 ckicks in it. Since it was in a tree branch right next to a window upstairs my son was fascinated by it and every day he watched it until they flew away then he wanted me to go get somemore birds to put in the nest -lol

You can think of the gangster talk for this one, lol.
