Blue looks good. I like it. Looks similar to the color I'm painting my switchblade chassis

alright people

just thought i'd let you know i havn't abandoned you all

i've spent the past however long, since 2 weeks ago, every day....sanding and filling and shaping, over and over and over.

And finally! the shape is totally finished!

and i've just finished coating it with arden blue

will be left to dry overnight, tomorrow morning, i will sand the windows and spray them black, will spray the lights silver and i will then clear coat the whole car, and i should be all good to post completed pictures for you all tomorrow night.

As far as i can see this civic looks amazing! and can only get better!

i just wanna say thanks for sticking with the project, and inspiring me to get it finished.

I'm so excited about it now.
It's all painted up, all the details added in.
masking the windows took me a few hours

As i had to paint them black...so had to mask the rest of the body instead of the windows.....and it turned out to be such a pain...but the end result is flawless.
Tonight, i need to laquer it, and i promise i shall have pictures of it up by tonight in it's completion...oooh the tension

right i've got it laquered now and wow! i've never seen anything so good looking

the paint is amazing....it's a shame as when i take a pic of it, it comes out as a sort of green....where it's actually a dark blue with very light blue where the light hits it.
I know i said i promise i'd get pics up tonight....but it's in pieces...and the laquer needs to dry overnight, so i don't really want to be fiddling with all the parts trying to screw the bumper on and fit the hood and rear lights as i might mess up the paint
And...i've got a 2 day school trip tomorrow...so i can't upload any until wednesday

ahh what the hell i'll upload a teaser photo for you

give me 30 mins to get another coat of laquer on etc.

i got a pic on my phone as the camera's got no battery

And, the quality is awful....but i'm afraid it's all you're getting for now.

it looks average in the pics....but in real life....and once it's all together i can promise you, that you won't be dissapointed...stay tuned for wednesday
