Welcome to the forum. Your purchase looks great, the price is alittle high but enjoy it as much as you can. I'm sure you can find your Gen1 on this forum once you hit the requirements!

Default Has a steering problem

Today was the first day I put fresh batteries in the skyline, and I found out that it doesnt turn left. I took the board cover off and checked the wires. I didnt see anything out the ordinary. So I took a clip go go yall the problem. If you got suggestion, Id be glad to hear them.
I did some searching but couldnt find anything on the Evo street series.

So adjusting the steering trim didn't help any. Still not turning left at all

I took another vid ( while driving).

I will check those fets. Is there anything else that would cause this issue.

I sent them a message and the link. Just waiting for a response.

Edit........

The seller said they would send me another #1 band chassis.

yeah...its hard for a seller to argue with your video...hope it all works out...in the least now you have an extra chassis to fix or for parts...

Yeah. I agree. I'm hoping when I get this new chassis, it will work. And hope its not the controller. How often do the controllers go bad anyways

I switched this servo with one from my parts chassis that i have. Its still does the samething. I may have to try switch out the crystals.

It just got better ....I got an email today from the ebay seller. They said, they were send me a new controller and chassis that has been tested. And I get to keep the other one.

I think I found the problem..... I was going to do an LED swap on the controller with some old LEDs i have ( my version of recycleing) when I broke them all. So I adjusted the crystal and put the controller back together. Now it turns to the left somewhat and every now and then. I figure it need some more lubrication on the steering pads. What can i use to lub that up with.

If that doesnt work, then Ill resolder the crystal in the controller. And if all still fails......

Ill just put a mini z board in it.

The replacement chassis and remote arrived. So i put a battery in the remote and turned on the old chassis, and do you know it worked .

Now I have two perfectly good chassis of the same band and one remote.
I was thinking of putting a mini z board in one, and as for the other i have now clue. What should I do with it?
