Build de Golf - -July '12 '13 Build-Off

thought i'd join in since i just got my first car xD
if it's against the rules for me to join in after the competition started, it's fine by me, ill drop out
but to the build,


my car: 2012 VW Golf
Engine: 2.5l inline 5. 170hp 177ft-lbs tq
Wheels: 15" factory hub caps
Suspension: independent suspension front and rear. shock/spring set up. factory stock.
Transmission: 6 speed auto with "s" mode + tiptronic
Features: Cloth "racing style" bucket seats(not really "racing style" but they claim it is lol).
touch screen radio with the option of SD card insertion for music/videos.
bluetooth for phone
music stream via bluetooth
rubber "monster" mats

a crappy pic for now, ive yet to have a chance to take pics of it with school and family emergencies going on




plans for the build-off(and for personal pleasure)
Engine: keep it the way it is for now, until i get a steady job. far future plans are: Intake, Chip (stage1), and even farther future plans are stage 2, which would technically be Exhaust, Downpipe, and i believe the Intercooler, though im not sure. Stage 3 would be a bigger turbo and a new chip. stage 4 would be race spec, which moves onto internals.
max i'd go is stage 2.. maybe stage 3
Transmission: keep it stock for now. move onto DSG later on down the road(probably after the turbo)
wheels: not sure yet, but there will be a change for sure. maybe 18's or 19's. not sure on the style yet.
suspension: DriverGear Sport Springs for now, it should give it a decent drop. coilovers later on down the road.
other stuff: new steering wheel, something fancier. leather, with radio/bluetooth controls.
exterior: new rear valance once i get a new exhaust. European golf r kit all the way around farther down the road
euro LED tail lights. euro golf r "hat" headlights
window tint
roof rack to carry my bike around.

that's it for now, ill keep this updated as much as i can til things calm down a bit
