Starter Kit / New member :)

Hey guys im new to this xmod forums and im so into these lil rc cars they are wild ! well just a question here ummm i was going through ebay looking for some xmods starter kit to get my thing started and they around 44 dollars and shipping is 30 dollars aswell cus i live in australia :S 100 for just a starter kit is it sure worth it? Please help me out guys i wana get started soon!'

they are clearanced to 25 dollars at most radioshacks. id start looking there, otherwise your just going to have to pay the higher prices that are on ebay.

i dont think there are any in melbourne :S well i dont want to buy somthing thats 100 dollars which is normally 25 dollars :S

i was thinking of buying a bumblebee xmods only for 63 bux thats alright i gueess

unless you find one dirt cheap your paying for shipping my friend, sorry. its sad that what you have to pay in shipping is what we can pay for one here now that they are on clearance

If it is going to cost close to $100 to get an Xmod to your door, I'd just get a mini-Z(or even an Iwaver) instead.
Xmods are fun but they are just not worth that kind of money.
For the price, you'd have much more fun with the mini-Z.
I only buy my Xmods when they are on clearance.

well i found some cars going for 60 hmmm that seems alright ? IMO . well i was looking through Mini z and they go aroudn for 90 dollars without shipping O_o.

not an xmod just some cheap knockoff

1 they never made that model xmod

2 different chassis

3 different tx

4 xmods are 1/28 scale

5 there is no "oem" series

6 xmods don't have a charging base

these are just a few things i found wrong

The car in the link is definitely not an Xmod. Looking at the bottom view picture, the chassis looks kind of cheap. I wouldn't get it.

I guess if the bumblebee is $60 shipped, it's not that bad.
I paid $15 for my bumblebee on clearance.

Too bad you don't know someone in the states that could pick you up a new one for $25 from radio shack and have it shipped. That would be the cheapest, and at least you'd have a selection to choose from.

also, don't try to post only for the sake of getting your post count up. but i hope you find an xmod soon
now, if you hold off until you can buy from the BST, i think you could post a WTB thread in there and somebody could sell you one, but hold off on that till you're qualified. (spam posts really don't count)
