Ahhh! No way!? I can't wait till they come in here!

Edit: Are they actually on sale, or just in stock?

to everybody that thinks the mustang was a stupid choice to realease radioshack does this for a few simple reasons one it is a lot cheaper to use a mold they already have then to make the huge invesment to make a new body and most of the people that will buy one of these xmods it will be there first so they probably wont even know they had the xmod body on a different chassis and wont care.

My only question. Do they come in the plastic cases they used to come in?

Here is where we agree to disagree. I have had the experience of working with most of the xmod shells. Creating a mold for mass production costs less then you may think vs. product sales. A couple examples are the 06 Mustang and the Barricade Mustang. With the 06 the front end consists of a removable light and grill assembly. On the Barricade the assembly is integrated into the shell. Similar situation in the rear. They are both newer Mustangs but try swapping parts and you will see. New mold same basic car. You cannot forget the SLR. These cars never showed up on retail shelves in the US for the most part but they managed to sell. This was also the template for vehicles without body kit options. New mold to a limited market. Creating a mold as an individual is costly but as a world wide company I'm sure the initial investment will cover within the first week of sales. The truth of the matter; lack of imagination, auto industry support and company support. The second part of your statement was that most of the people who would buy these new models would be first timers. No disrespect but the majority of their initial sales would more then likely be repeat customers. The only example I can provide you on this is.....well this is page 10 of one thread in 1 forum about the new line. The Transformers line was a marketing deal which I believe was aimed at first timers. I don't believe this is the case with the new line because none of these cars appear to have anything in common other then variety, however limited.

you know, did anyone stop to think that the four unknown things may just be the three bodykits and maybe a new rim set or something?

I think the slr is like a sercret that when bad for rs. mabye the cars/bodys that only sold in germany, ect were like a test. if this car sells good here we'll sell in the u.s. that kinda thing. cause imagin the differance in sale numbers between theUS and everywhere else

No... That's impossible. Xmods were first released in America. No way it went to Europe first. I think. The SLR wasn't some sort of test. Just a preference. Would Americans buy the SLR over a popular GT-R? Probably not. Would Germans buy the SLR over a GT-R, maybe because (I think) SLRs are from Germany.

you prove a good point but i still think if they sold em here that they would still be popular but it is kinda weird that certian cars are sold in certin places and not just the slr even the hpi cars and others but people still get them no matter the distance
