Bodies and Chassis...

I was looking at xmods on ebay and see alot of bodies for sale. If you buy a whole kit, can you buy any body to put on it? Or do you have to have the chassis for it? What all parts are interchangable? Is there another thread on this that I missed?

Yes, you can put any body on any xmod. The long wheelbase (G35, Mustang, Barricade and Bumblebee) need a spacer, but they are all intercompatable.

so is there any difference in the Gen 1 and Gen 2 chassis? Is there any difference in any of the parts that come with them? If I buy a barricade complete, and then get a supra body, will I need to do any modding?.

last question, is there a website that you can get all of this? I was looking for some of the retired items, but you can not get them off of radioshack and the only place that I have found them are EBAY.

There is a huge difference in the gen1 and gen2 chassis.

If you buy a Supra body to put it on the gen2(Barricade length), you might need to shorten the chassis and may have to trim the wheel wells of the surpa body.

So then, any gen 2 body will fit fine on a gen 2 chassis, and same goes for gen 1 but not vise versa?
