Default Chrysler 300C Z

I didn't know where to post this since there's no designated section for Mini-z's

Here's my latest addition to my Mini-Z collection:

It's a Mini-Z Chrysler 300C - the Chassis is MR-015 with Atomic motor, shielded metal ball bearings, RS rechargable batteries, 5 point star chrome rims (plastic) and 35* threaded rubber tires (all upgraded by myself). The body was painted by a friend of mine -Suspekae (it was assemble by me and painted by him) - It has a 2 tone paint job - top half is purple marble look and bottom is silver with faded checkers and X logo with ghost flames.

Thanks for watching guys!

kick *** paint job!
i see the top is a nice blue/purple flip flop
i personally think that it would look better if the top paint faded into the bottom

Thanks, the top is a dark purple with a marble effect so it's pretty much stops at the middle since it's has the other half with the faded graphics.

Okay... Wow... That looks great!

My question is, would you ever drive it with that body, or is it a display body and you have a separate one that you don't mind taking hits?

You should take some lessons from this friend on painting with an airbrush. Your rattle can stuff is very nice but you need to pick up an airbrush and have him show you the works.

It looks very nice. I find that the 'stripes' on the lower portion of the body take away from everything else, but it does look very nice anyway! Tell your buddy' he does some very nice airbrush detailing work on micro scale.

Dahamn. That 300 is looking all the way right. Good choice of colors and dynamite graphics. Real nice job overall.

It is what it is buddy - and that's a shelf queen! Now way i'm making this take any hits - infact I almost cried when it took a hit in the front - I was testing it with the chassis and I forgot that mini-z's don't have breaks like xmods - anyways, it rolled and a chair. I was lucky that it was a minor chip and I covered it up with alittle matching paint.

yeah I like them but I won't be buying too much of them since they're pretty pricey.

I think i'll be investing in an airbrush set up this year - rattle cans are so last year now . But for real, i'll get one this year to practise with and see what I can do.

Yeah, I noticed you said purple marble, but in the last pic, it looks like its a purple/blue flip flop paint

Haha X that's sweet! You gotta get painting lessons from your friend. Your paint job's are great, but that is amazing! Kudos to your friend!

That really looks nasty.

i bought one today. I like the model of the 300C and my retailer had 1 left.

Now is my question. Is 70 euro's expensive for a mini-z or is it pretty cheap seen all the other prices.

That is awesome. Your friend can paint. Very nice. I like the ghost and x logo. If your friend gave you some lessons on airbrushing i am sure you could make a good car.

I'll refrain from answering to you first comment until I can see something that you've done ( It should be like crazy awesome if you're saying this is nasty )

About your other Q? I don't know cause I don't use Euros to buy stuff

Muscle-Freak - Please refrain from bumping old topics. This topic was nearly three months old.

To answer your Euro question: 70eur. equals approximatly $110american. A new Kyosho MR02 runs for about $120-130. I'd say it's a fairly good price.
