Well madmac he's just started the project so lets not jump to conclusions thinking he doesn't know what he is doing let alone gonna have a bad finished project.

I knew a guy in rl who did the same with his real car. used the front of a acura and body of a civic.

Well, as you can see in the pictures that the RSX front end has been put onto a Civic Body. Both of the bodies were beaters, and the Civic was already chopped up in the front for the clip system for a model. As the RSX, well... Let's say I did a horrid putty/paint job on it, and thought to myself, since I have a nice RSX already, might as well, just do something creative.. and thanks on the spoiler, it's just a lowered RSX "wild" bodykit spoiler from the Black RSX kit.

Hehe, well... Updates real soon more like now, I would like to see some pics of that Acuvic.

Here's some minor updates as of right now..

As you can see from the above two pictures, she has gained about 1-2mm of width. I'm shooting for 3-3.5mm in the rear and 2-2.5mm in the front.

and if you are wondering.. Those Rear Quarter Panels are from a Custom Rydz BMW M3 GTR which I had never used, seeing as I disliked the body lol.

and that is a little amount of putty work, it is over the brace that is helping hold the front together.

That's all for right now. I have to find my 350Z "wild" bodykit side skirts and steal the front pieces.

Blade.

OK. I looked at all the pics and I must say I really jumped the gun. My bad for sure. Now that I see what's in store for this little car I must say you have a good start to what could turn out to be one sweet ride. I will be looking forward to your progress. Thanks for the heads up on the spoiler. I have one and I may just see what it looks like on my RSX.

Looks like you know what your doing and off to a good start ! I'm definitly keeping my eyes on this, it's a interesting project that not too many would do. Make this a shelf queen, as one medium to hard hit on the front or sides, the entire thing would fall apart.

Have fun and good luck with this build ! And welcome to the forums !

Thanks guys! Well, here is another slight update.(Yes the putty work is not all that great, and could be better performed.. But, she is still being worked on.)

Bird View.

Right now, I am more concerned with the rear end. As I think it will require the most amount of work.. But, I have also ran into a slight problem with the front as I lost one of the 350Z side skirts, so I am in a rut with that.. I will just find some sheet plastic and use that for the front though.

Rear end pics.

Bird View of Rear End.

Yuck! Do you have any pics of that horrible creature by any chance?

Nice project Blade! Interesting idea, that I think will come out well in the end. Have you thought about losing the wing? I will be watching this build!

Well.. I'm not sure about the wing yet as of right now.. I do like it, but I will be doing a little custom work to the wing as well. Currently no progress pictures as I had to work today(Yay! 8am-9pm!) I'll be checking the body lines for how a spoiler would look with this creation.

@ Deckerz - I don't really know if I want to paint her... I kind of like tinkering with the body, and if I paint her, then I have to sand her back down.. and well, tinker again.. But we'll see

@ Stang_Racer - Well, trust me.. I don't like the long one all that much, and I'm still debating on making a straight custom front bumper, or just modding this current one a little bit.

@ M0DEL - Thanks A little creation, imagination can go a long way, and it's your body(s) do what you want to them

I will not be doing any work to her tonight, I have to wash the truck and get her detailed for the show and shine tomorrow, and I have to drive her in the Parade also lol.

Thanks for the comments guys if you see anything that would look good, or even paint schemes you can think of, I'll be happy to hear them

Blade.

well i was more fond of the stock bumper, maybe modding it would be a little easier than a whole custom bumper

It looks like an MR2! A mustang with some real style, now it needs a Vtec.

Blade, take your time with that putty work. When I am working with putty, I tape off all the areas that I am not working on, that way I can spray as much primer in between layers without have to go back and trace the bodylines with an exacto. Bondo spot-hole filler also works great to smooth out spots where you've added two or more putty touch ups. Great work so far.

Update.. and what a late one also.

Here are some pictures from yesterday, I've been trying my best to get this finished. I'm looking at paint August-September though, will still need to do touch ups, and also finish the custom front bumpar.(Yes, bumper but I felt it needed a twist.)

Pictures.

Those are of yesterday. I have only done some slight work. Sanding, and minor touch ups, those can wait until a larger update has been done.

I believe my next update will be around this coming weekend. If not sooner, don't expect anything though.

Blade.
