Default I have a nice xmod

Well first i would like to ask if i need the gpm rear gear box to go with my gpm motor holder thing because i have noticed a good amount of decrease in speed and it sounds like the gears(not the motor gears) arent touching close enough. thanks! here it is:

Yeah its not bad

The silver and blue go really nicely together... my only comments are to mount the board a little better and tidy up the big sticky pads on the liths but otherwise its coming along real nice.

Well the board is sitting an angle right??

Due to the Stiletto chassis being metal and not wanting to bridge the board and blow your FETs, purely for aesthetic reasons I would say try to level it out.

As for the problem of it losing speed it could be any number of things, are you sure you have the right gear on the motor and the matching motor mount, if you don't use the right pieces then the motor gear can slip and miss.

oh well i cant move the board because of the way i soldered it.it kept coming out a bajillion times so i had to make it permanent and it just stays in the same place now so i cant move it.and for the problem, its not the motor gears its the...i forget what its called but its the thing that comes with the awd upgrade(the gear thing) except its in the back

they should work either way, unless you get some gear meshing issues you should be fine with the plastic.

i heard that you need to cut part of the motor spacer for better mesh

here atomicmods.com webpage

?I have the GPM XMOD Evo Car Billet Aluminum Rear Driveline Case and cannot fit the motor spacer under the motor, help!?

The factory motor spacers must be trimmed in order to use this part. Just trim the upward extensions off about mid way up the curve.

or because there is no spot that the spacer sits in with the gpm motor case (unlike the stock one) you could just use the spacer for the gear with one more gear , for example: if yo are running 12:23 you could use the spacer you would usualy use for 11:23.

Most parts would increase weight, the difference is noticable. But if you have the money to go GPM, you can probably afford the motors, liths etc...

Are you hearing a crackling sound? if so your rear diff is probably stripped you might want to get the GPM or Atomic one.

Your motor wires are touching at the part where they screw in, thats bad but idk if that is your problem.
