Default My lifted Offroad F150

Well I had an extra F150 body so I decided to make it into a offroader. I had to custom lift the rear clip and i just inverted the front one. I also widened the wheel wheels to accomodate the custom wheels - super swamper tires on custom rims (same set like 4x4 GMC) and I added on some offroar side flares and a small lead front bumper guard. It's the same rock-crawler chasis that has AWD, offroad lift kit, metal ball bearings, rear diff. locked, metal lug nuts, clips removed for more articulation, and stage 2 motor with neo-mags and the a 9:23 gear setting. I left it with stock paint being that it's gonna get all banged up and scratched up so why waste paint. Anyways, I hope you guys like it. edit: the other pics are mainly to show the difference in height between the other xmods trucks and cars.

Thanks dude! I can't remember where i got those RPM decals from - I think it came with a 27T motor that I had bought for my Tamiya 1/10 r/c.

not bad (as always great job) but you need bigger wheels. it dont look right with them tiny wheels and lifted so much. just my 2 cents

well its really noticeable that he turned the front clip around. and then he probably added washers and longer screws to the rear clip.

Thanks guys! I know alil bigger tires would make it look just right so i'll be looking out for somemore wider and slightly bigger ones. The height thing does give the rear more articulation which make it alittle better for offroading on rocks and stuff. I did flip the front clip and but for the back clip I used 2 screws and a piece of plastic tube, plus I had already placed 3 plastic washers on the top part of it. If you're wondering how 2 srews would work - it's pretty simple actually
O < screw
" top part
| |
| |< tube
| | rear clip
"
O < screw
You just use the tube to link the top part that screws onto the body and rear clip. you must first screw in the the tube to the top and then bolt it to the body then just screw the clip onto the tube.

I did also wanted to make it have this height appearance

That's pretty high too but I did notice my tires are just alil smaller in scale
