Well, you discovered almost everything. The Servo is moved, but its not the same chassis. The Stock Slash setup has servo on sides. The motor is infact a hobbywing, but it is a 10T 3900KV. Stay tuned, I might be able to finish chassis by tonight.

Lol, knowing you of course you sttled for some odd brand motor instead of name brand =P. Is your chassis like plexiglass or styrene??, cant wait to see it! BTW are you sure that motor is ROAR legal?

Edit: Nvm your running open class so it should be fine right.

grr i know the answer, but kevin wont let me spoil it for u guys

hobbywing isnt odd

its every popular in the big scale world, its just.. unpredictable, it might run perfectly or it might run like poop on a stick, thats what "china" products are

Sorry to change topics and not that your Traxxas isn't interesting but are you doing the rally conversion to your TT-01??

lol, I had a feeling you were running a rustler chassis from the pics of the servo underbody but wast sure what to say...cuz a rustler chassis on a slash sounds kinda weird, but I am sure you can make it work. Oh and about ur TT01, you need to make up ur mind man, lol, I swear you have decided to drift it, then sell it, then restore it, now to rallify it. Keep up the good progress

lol. I tested the Slash at the track. The screws kept coming loose until a fellow track buddy came up to me with red perm. thread lock and exposed his Rustler chassis conversion too. He made spacers for the rear transmission, but said that he always have to replace the spacers b/c Alum bends. I got the motor and ESC set-up. Clocked on the dirt track straightaway 47MPH. No pics of my current even lower COG positioning of the stuff. This setup runs EXCELLENT. Its almost there, just needs a few tweaks here and there. On a side note, I stripped the spur gear, im laying off SC racing for the next few months because I have something else of interest to do, don't expect me to post updates yet.

@B1G no more rally conversion for it, but if you want to try I can send you the rally tires and teach you how to increase suspension movement and increase ride height to 2CM.

@dreaming my plans have changed again.
