Default Old cars or New Cars

Which ones do you prefer. I prefer older cars but there are exceptions in new ones. I know more older(Pre 1990's) cars that I do newer cars(1990+)Also don't forget to post some pics of 'em!

haha dude are you kidding? your deffinition of old is pre 1990? an old car in my mind is somthing like pre 1980 at least, if not pre-1975(ish)

really it depends on what i'm looking for.
comfort and reliability, new cars (probably wouldnt want anything older than 1997 tho)
power and classic good looks, old cars (pre-1975)

as you can see there is a huge gap, but nobody likes the cars of the 80s anyways haha :P

since my truck is post 1990 i'll have to vote new cars on this one though

I likes both older and newer cars. I vote for newer car because I likes Hummer H1, they come out at 1994 and always be my most favorite transporation on the planet. I'm saving up and trying get decent used Hummer H3 with offroad package. I likes H3 better than H2 because of gas milage. I wants go offroading and camping at same, maha ha ha...

I vote new because I like new technology and the advances in the auto industry are pretty fascinating, to me at least. Plus I own two new cars, 2000Integra Turbo, 2007 Chevy Cobalt LS and drive my parent's 93' 3000GT every now and then. I guess my Bronco is a 1988, but it is a beast trooper camping rig!

Classic, pre-late 70s and a select few 80s cars.

Nothing beats being able to actually see your enigne, much less sit next to it, and work on it under the hood. Classic styling that was not driven by the bean counters in their cubicles.

Aerodynamics be ****ed, I have chrome bumpers and tail fins!

The 4th gen Firebirds were the fastest, best handling Firebirds ever. And no, the 09 does not, at all, exist.

One of my all time favorites is the 1987 Buick GN. My dad has one, here's some pictures of it with my old camera.

i love the old school metal with a twist of new school.

basically 70's cars with brand new motors and with a few little updates to make them more driveable in what ever way im looking for. example....

my 79 civic... building it with a new motor, ditching the crappy carbs and converting it to FI. new school power FTW!

next car i will do is a 1960's/70's datsun 510, with a SR or RB swap.

After that (or maybe before just depends when i can ****ing find one) ill do a 1970's skyline with a RB or SR swap.

also want a old school mini with a b18 swap. again old car, new power.

and some day a looooong ways down the road when normal gas is just unbarrable/gone, ill prob change out the 327 in my camaro for a newer ls1 or something and run e85.

heres some examples of my prime cars...

I like light cars. most pre '80 cars are body-on-frame.....so they're out.

most anything newer than 2000 has too much wrapped up in insulation, crumple zones, and luxury features. not to mention computer systems that think they know more than you know (which, unfortunately, is true for most people).

yea, I love my 2500 lb 4WD wagon. no airbags, no ABS, no traction control, no garbage, just car.

lol, so true. plus what's with plastic bumpers? why can't cars just have nice aluminum blocks and/or rods like they used to? plastic is preppy. aluminum is all out aggressive.

Lighter and cheaper to mass-produce. Better fuel economy with lightweight materials, but a higher death rate.

You pick.

LOL haha
