Default 4x4Daddy's indoor offroad course

I decided come back here because Mirco RC Center and XmodWorld are pretty much ghost town. And UltimateXmods forum, pretty much talked to myself...

If I post wrong thread, please forward to proper thread. Thanks

Anyway, back on show....

Here are pictures.
Start with section by section, first section of offroad course is Woody Trail and nearly two feet long.

More to come soon...

Thanks

Looks amazing! Where'd you get the sticks from? Any plans to make a rock crawling course?

Sticks come from park behind our backyard. Brought'em in, cut'em and glue'em on computer foam bricks. I hoping starts paper mache over foam tomorrow after shopping from Hobby Lobby.

A rock crawling is a on my list, I haven't gets that far. There are a lot of things on my list to build. Inch deep pond with fountain tabletop pump system is at bottom of list.

Looks good, if you paint it you should have something over the foam because im pretty sure it will melt if you spray paint it, I know when I painted some regular styrofoam it melted a huge hole in it.

it all depends on the contents of the paint..I paint some foam a while back, and it shrivled up,and then I bought some different paint, and it didnt do anything..

4X4, this is looking like a great project. I saw the startup of it on another forum, but never saw it to this extent. I must say, it's pretty cool when someone goes all out like this!

Dear lord does that look like a killer course. I hope that someday when I have a family and a house of my own I can go to the garage and build a offroad course like that with 'logs', water fording, 'boulders', and all with a dirt layer and play with my toys. **** you temporary college dorms!

At least I have a Jeep like the one in the pic for some 1:1 crawling. Mistakes are so much more costly though...
