whoooaaa, ebay is a big nono. I sell lithium kits $17 which is cheap, don't use that ebay lith crap. It explodes, leaks and will ruin your car if you aren't lucky. AND the charger is poop.

Generally speaking, I am unsure how anyone can say that a charger for a battery pack is "poop" and expect anyone to respect their opinion about the product.

Also generally speaking I would most likely say that the pack sold on Ebay is going to be a cheap variant of those sold everywhere else. A battery is simply a storage device and all of them are going to be the same, with the exceptions being their connections and wire quality. With that said, check around and buy the one you like.

for $16, i'd pick it up and try it...people sit there and talk about how bad ebay parts are, then they wind up trying to sell their parts on ebay...atomic sells on ebay, XI sells on ebay...just because it's on ebay, why does that make it crap? where's your logic? the difference between the quality is usually the runtime, most of the kits you find that aren't from a reputable company like atomic, or some other good RC store are going to be pretty much the same stuff, but if you treat this battery right, it would probably work well.

he is buying from chaohu, the biggest rip off artist in hong-kong (Rc, express). Trust me, even ask BLT. XI and other companies may be good. AND no its all bad, yes all bad. The batteries have fast drain and leak easily. If you like battery acid on your car this is your product Chahaou sells to other xmod dealers and they have bad exp. customers too. They sell lithium, it works ppl give good feedback, boom right after a little while your screwed.

1. His chargers just directly charge, they can charge and never stop and just explode. No indication, his recoomendation is that you charge 30mins to 1 hour And there is not light indications just red.

2. TOTALLY different mAh ratings, they aren't meant to be used with xmods. Dude I do my research.

3. They can damage your board and fry FETs. IDK when i was performing tests, all of a sudden the voltage spiked, yellow gooey stuff came out, and my FETs fried

My logic is that I have tried tons of battery packs, FETs, and different types of CF, I know my stuff.

lol that varies! it will always double, in order to triple you need a solid motor and maybe some fets. EVEN atomic says it will double speed. Those are lithium ion, they work, and wont be pierced as they are in steel casing. So dont bash my product.

Plus if you buy the ones off ebay then you'll make baby Jesus cry.

Edit: Plus the charger Bayville gives you has more LEDs and automatically shuts off the charger for you apparently.

I don't want to get involved in any wars here, but I'll offer my slightly worthless opinion.
I've never tried this product (PS2 Li-Poly from eBay), however I have bought stuff from the seller.
Basically, he clones a few products (his "GPM" alloy pieces are clones of Hot-Racing), and some of the colors don't match on them. Some are dull.
The fitment is precise however there's some binding.

What am I getting at? These might be good, might be bad, I can't tell you that. But I've bought from the seller 2-3 (I cannot remember) times, and the products are decent products. It's a hit or miss, you might get a good deal, might not. He's got some quality issues that you can or can't deal with (that depends on how you take the product)
Just be cautious, and keep the expression "you get what you pay for" in mind.

Oh, so yours can overcharge the batteries and blow them up to then, unless I am to assume the indicator unplugs it for you. Also, you didn't mention previously that the charger costs extra although the one on ebay comes with it for the cost of your pack. Just trying to shift through and get complete details as your site is kinda lacking in that department.

As for me being poor, not all of us can run such successful e-businesses.

No they cannot blow up. It slows down to 20 mAh i beleive. So it would take a 2 days to explode. So have fun with those chargers that pump 12 volts into your liths and pay for new flooring.

I would NOT get that eBay pack you have there Amorton. Save up some more money and get a pack from AM, Bayville or even XI's DIY kit. But I wouldnt buy the DIY kit if you dont know what your doing. And from what I read, the eBay packs are pretty crappy.

I'll agree with the saying "You get what you pay for"

i restated exactly what was in the description from your site, how is that bashing your product?

amorton, he has 1 neg feedback for that kit blowing out an Xmod, so it's at your own discretion, if you have a few boards to play around with, $16 isn't bad at all for liths and a charger...if you can't spare a board, just buy from atomic when their site is back up.
