Default .:Project R34:.

Hey guys here is my daily drifter a Nissan Skyline GTR [R34] rolling on a street chassis

Mods
AWD
Locked Differentials
light weight drive shaft mod
GPM rear dogbones
GPM black 6spoke wheels
custom rear wheels spacers
custom lowered in the rear just enough to kill the wheel gap
rear wing deleted
custom tow hook
exhaust deleted
custom bigbore pipe
aluminum heatsink
one ball bearing in front gearbox lol

Future mods
shaved boot lid (in progress)
Tow hook painted red
rear window spoiler
shaved mirrors
rear diffuser
custom motor with ferrite mags and miniZ armature
Cop Lights
shaved rear bumper
The goal with this project is to make it a total sleeper and stick to only modifying small details to give the car more stance and improve its overall look. I'll try to get some better shots and some showing the hella flush rear end after the boot lid shave. Heres what I got now.

Hella Flush FTW!!!

My WIP shaved boot lid

Tow Hook

Comments apreciated
Small Update: Finished sanding the boot lid and prepped it for paint tomorrow.
Also took a pic of the chassis for you guys.

This is what I used to fill the holes,Its not exactly a putty and is a bit rubbery but it worked better than expected.

Please comment, will post another update tomorrow with the finished boot lid and a red tongue.

is the bb on ur diff? You should remove it. Its going to make no difference in performance if not mess with it.
Nice work tho. Them rims are sick! Lovin' the murdered out look.
Btw, the rear wing actually HELPS with drifting.

when i got the car it was on there in place of a bushing which was messing up the diff, but since they are now locked it really makes no difference. Thanks man and i really noticed no difference without the wing? heres an update on the shave

Cop lights

Color matched nicely

Closer look @ shaved boot lid not the best i know but i'm happy with it

More HELLA FLUSH

Red Tongue

Thanks man, I made the tow hook out of an old iTunes card and drilled the hole with a pointy philips head screw driver. It took less than five minutes to complete and i really like it.

you can get an i tunes card and a drive shaft. heat the drive shaft with a lighter and poke a hole in the car and then you have spacers.

I completely forgot that this thread was on here lol here is a massive update.
UPDATE: Painted roof purple, flipped rear wheels, deleted exhaust, added headlight accents and rear window spoiler. next is either more front camber or shaved front bumper. i forgot to polish it before pics so here is some stuff from my mini photoshoot.

Well I think this maybe the end of project r34. The only things that i may do now are swap in an open front diff(maybe) or make a cs setup(a big maybe). Other than that I will for a fact fix the boot lid but thats not gonna be for a while, for now I just wana enjoy the car while it is all together and hopefully without having to tune it anymore. Here are the latest mods i have done to the car.

-Custom adjustable chassis ride height(basically coilovers for xmods)

-Custom motor with ferrite mags(from spinbrush) Mini Z armature and Stage 1 endball

-Custom chassis lowering plate/camber kit in front

-Custom chassis lowering plate/adjustable camber kit in rear

-Custom Lexan Gear cover

-Board cover delete

-Custom electronics heatsink

-Flip front wheels for deep dish look

-trim tires for stretch look and mooore lowz

-custom hood

-custom Thule branded bike rack

-Euro plate in front

-front fender roll and trim

-New antenna

-Stickerz
Now for the pics

Feel free to comment sorry i forgot to update

^ lol Mine is purely for show right now. It's not holding up that well. Measure and trim the fairing so it's scale and then apply it on the roof with some 3M double-sided tape. Kind of ghetto, but it works. hahaha Goodluck!

i made the spoiler myself actually, i just used an old gift car and some hotglue. And what do you mean by "waterproof hood" ? all i did was paint it, the water was just to try to make the shot artistic

ooo, its doesn't have waterproof coating... I just though that cause the water didn't spread out, it just look like drops on the hood.

it has clear coat id thats what ya mean. typically the water beads up like that on the car even with OEM paint.

Heres a mini update on the car. I am outa town atm and decided to bring my xmod along, it is here without any spares and proper tools that i have not realized a few of my cars important issues. First off the front bumper needsnground down on the right side because it restricts steering ability. also the front diff is slipping and my single ball bearing is also killing m steering. i have removed the front bumper and im gonna change out the bearing.
