sorry to bring back an old topic
BUT......great news :P
it's all changing again....i can't belive how long it's been since i've updated on this site.
i've got loads to show you

here, is how its progressed since you last saw it:

i accidently on purpose slipped and cut the arch off my skyline .....oh my :hmm:
so can anyone hazzard a guess as to where it's going? :confused2:

original arch:

my arch

right this is where im up to, ive plastic welded this new arch on and will blend and fill it in now and then i shall update

again sorry for bringing back such an old topic, but i didn't see the point in starting a new 1

oh and it's good to be back

That looks great.

Personally, I like this design more than the arches you had on there before.

Can't wait for updates - keep it up!

this is sooo **** hard
well not for anyone else, but me beign a perfectionist want each tiny part of the arch to be in exactly the same place as the other and be shaped exactly the same
it's getting there though, i've got both arches welded on, in PERFECT position
now i've got to filler it and sand, filler sand, putty to make additions to it to fit perfect with the rear bumper and skirts.

it will be worth it though

That looks great so far!

It is comming along very nicely.

Take some pics with the rear bumper on, please. I really like the design of the arch and the rear bumper.

hey guys
i know its been such a long time.....
but as i get older, the further away i get from xmods
and onto other things ...like real cars
but every now and then i remember how fun it was.
so today, going to work flat out on it for a good 6 hours, get some new work done
widening skyline arches, making new door lines
front arches going skyline style aswell....blended into the bumper arches.
the rear bumper is going to be so hard to do, getting the arches to match with the lights, and then matching the rear bumper...think i might join them

anyway thanks for sticking with me on this prject, i promise i will finish it!

luke

hey people
been working on it quite a bit.
front arches now rebuilt slightly ....with a design which flows more with the rear arch, but doesnt effect the look of the wide front bumper which i love!
im on holidays now, so i can get some work done, im determined to finish this project! it will happen some day
cheers
