Oh... are those cars unbelievably good or something?

Well, personally, I can't say I'd want to prove those cars are mine.

your kidding right? i'd personally give my left nut for a vette like that. so clean, and such a nice car.

the camaro has potential with a lot of time and money. so get some update pics. and some proof pics. a vette like that isnt something to joke about being yours, so that why everyone is being adament about wanting more proof.

Oh, well I don't have much use for another nut. I don't need three. However, I'd just sell it then I guess. A car is only worth as much as someone will spend for it. Its legacy means very little to me and neither does its rareness Its something I have little relation to. I understand though it has a high value to certain people, or else it wouldn't be worth what it is.

On second thought, I guess I can see years for now an admiration I could have for a nice condition DSM. It would make me nostalgic and its value to me personally could be a lot more than to others.

It only really makes sense to me if there was a solid connection for me with a particular car. I have no connection with that vette, I've never even seen one nor do I really care if I do again. If I couldn't sell that vette, I'd not trade my DSM for it now, even if he threw in a couple thousand.

Its not how rare or how much some one will pay for it. Its how old and little you see a 1950's vette that clean.
That vette will allways be worth way more than a DSM.

Now i dont like corvettes either, But i would also give my left nut for that car.

2jack3jack, I dant care if its yours or not. Thats a beuatiful car.

it's proof enough. stop complaining about it.
just take his word for it. it's not like you're ever going to actually come across this person, so why bother instigating conflict?
but get a few good proof pics with your camaro also

We say more proof because it's easy to put a piece of paper on the car my parents own and call it mine too. Hey, I now own a 1950 Styleline Deluxe.

I highly doubt any teen has the finances to afford a 50s Vette.

it's still a possibility that his dad or something gave him the vette (like the car's been passed to 2j3j while his dad buys a new car)

Thanks for all the compliments. I also inhareted the 58 corvette from my gpa and bought the camaro from my dad for 1500. The vettes the only one that's legal tho. I don't drive it to nice someone would key it at my school. I also don't care if you believe me, I posted the thread like you asked. The 58 is the cleanest year in my oppinion.

Even if you don't drive it daily, you could've at least got your dad to pull it out of the garage so you could have taken some more convincing pics in the sunlight. I mean come on now, as stated above you could throw your name on anything, and this-is probably your dads. The title isn't in your name and even if it was something you would inevitably inherit, just state so- why do you feel compelled to try to brag about it on a forum in which you stated you didn't care what anyone said?

Let's see some pics of cruising around on Sunday, put on your cool guy glasses and have someone take some pics of you driving it... or something that doesn't look like a meager attempt to save face.
