what kind of pets do you have?

just curious what kind of pets everyone here has. i've always been pretty big into animals and like so many different ones. just wanted to see what kind of cool things you have.

as for me i currently have:
male albino ferret
3 male bettas (fish)
and an additional 5 fish tanks with assorted types of fish in them.

in about four weeks i'll be getting a new puppy. they were born about 3 weeks ago, and i'm currently waiting on them to get old enough to be on their own.

I have about 30 chickens, 6 pea****s, 2 horses, 1 German Shepard, 8 cats, 2 Newts, & about 20 gold fish. It's kind of funny about 1 of our chickens, it's a hen and she follows us around the yard. We can walk up to her and pick her up and she does nothing. My mom holds out a piece of bread and she then flies up on her arm and eats the bread like crazy. She's not afraid of anything besides racoons and hawks. Another funny story is my brother and my dad both seen a hawk take down one of our roosters and had him pinned to the ground. The hawk flew away leaving the chicken my dad thought it was dead so he walked up to it just about to pick it up then it jump up squacking scaring my dad, it then ran away and hid.

One black lab, named Macie, and one black cat, named Sophie. Don't ask about the names, my mom and sisters named them both. In the future, I hope to get either a chocolate lab or a weiner dog, which I would name Dilly.

As a family, we have River. He's out mutt; vet says they see more than thirty-breeds, but I find that a little far-fetched myself. Unfortunatly, he's blind in his right eye from birth (catarac) and it costs too much to fix. He doesn't feel any pain and he doesn't even know since it's been like that since birth. We know, however, because all he ever does is bump into legs, walls, tables and other various objects while turning right. He's the anti-NASCAR.

(This is his blind eye. The color will change depending on season and temperature, it's kinda cool..)


My brother has Rioux (pronounced: "Rio".) "It" is a green-cheek conure. I say "it" because we do not know what sex "it" is yet; we won't know until "it" lays eggs or doesn't after about five years. "It" is closing in on two years old; my brother received Rioux as a Christmas present in December of '06.


We also have a fish tank with a varrying amount of fish by day (breed like rabits and eat like pirrana) and we used to have a kitty, but she died about two years ago from old age (she was fifteen when she died).

Oh! I also had a spider in my room yesterday that I named Frank, but I can't find him anymore...

1 Dog, part min pin, doxin, and chihuaua or how ever you spell it...We named him Irwin after steve irwin. 3 cats, 1 black tabby named fuzz, 2 calico's names are shake's [bc she used to shake when she was a kitten and the other named E-walk bc she looks like an E-walk from star warz lol and 2 fish

The creatures that inhabit my household include:

-1 Lab (male)(black/little spots of white)(2 years old)

I am also thinking about adding some fish to the family, but I am not sure if I want to deal with that again.

I think that's it. Not ours personally, but she takes care of them like her own everyday, and I have helped on several occassions, it's pretty sweet.

I have a dog that is a mix between a border collie and a golden retriever is is 12 years old. i have a gold fish that is 4 or 5 years old. i got it from a fun fair at our school.lol. i had a hamster that died last summer. we had her for over 2 years. she climbed the stairs!! like a champion too. i had other fish but they died right away.

and heres my old black lab/doberman mix, her name was suzie, she was put down becuz of cancer that spread really fast in her breasts.
