Blue neon? On a 1950 Ford P/U?

I can't stop you.. but let me give you a suggestion.. DON'T!

Sounds like a nice project, something good to learn with.

Just take your time, and always ask questions when you don't know. Plenty of us here know enough that we could help you, and if you have mechanically inclined friends to help, use them.

And where are the pictures man?

A Mustang chassis you mean I think..

And by that what I really think you mean is a Mustang front suspension?

I'm not really sure.. but just because you have a Mustang suspension doesn't mean it will be track ready. Serious track ready Mustangs don't use a stock suspension.

Get a nice 4 link setup in the rear, some tubular control arms, adjustable coil over shocks in the front.. and you'll be sitting better.

You don't even need the 4 link in the rear, just get a good rear end and bolt it in..

No like im going to take the body off of the 50 ford and take a chase of a Mustang and im going to put in intake . And since the Mustang chasie will be on it the 50 ford it will be lower to make it go faster. Or i may just fix it up with the flathead V8 and go into some car shows then sell it and get me a honda civic becuase thats the car i want.

How old are you? Do you know anything about building custom vehicles? You seem to just be pulling ideas out of your butt, and they don't make any sense at all... Please sell this truck to someone who will treat it right and use that money to buy your little ricer toy.

When they say mustang chassis, their talking about the front part of the frame from a Mustang II. It was a cheap and effective method of getting disk brakes and modern steering. Not to mention because no body likes the Mustang II, it was a cheap car to find. You can't put a whole truck on a mustang chassis because it has no frame. It's a unibody car.

And you'd sell the F1 for a fooking civic?

Sell the truck to me and I'll save you the trouble of working on it.

Really wow a 1950s ford for a civic. I meen your talking about drag racing but you are thinking about draining all this money in a 50s truck project and then sell it for some pos civic that will never retain its value.

You can't drop that thing onto a Mustang chassis.. the Mustang has no frame. Like mentioned, it's a uni-body car. The frame is built into the body.

Dude, I just gave up on you when you said you would rather have a Civic or a 1950 Ford with a flat-head.

Also, you mentioned you were going to drop the Ford onto the chassis and put an intake on it? That's it.. dude, I'm seriously speechless. Not to mention, the wheelbase of a Mustang is most likely no where near the same as the 50 Ford you mention.. it's not like an Xmod where you can just throw in a spacer and make it work.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, what you are saying.. you're just talking out of your butt hoping we will go "OMG LOLOL GREAT IDEA MAN DO IT HAHA WE THINK THATS GREAT!"

Little did you know.. we know what we're talking about. My suggestion? Take some time and do some research, and get to know what you are doing, what you are talking about.. and realize that a 1950 Ford with a flathead is way cooler and much more rare than any Civic you will ever find. Civics are a dime a dozen, you see them riced out everywhere. How often do you see a 1950 Ford cruising down the road? Point made..

Sounds neat. Got some pictures? Got any proof as it is yours? When you take those pictures can you put a sign up saying it's yours by having your Xmodsource name on that sign? Until then your just lying.

Blade.

Because we've heard that before, along with brothers cousins and 'I was drunk'.
