Default January '10- '11 Build Off 1981 Ford F-250. Bogger?

Ok ill bite. So heres my beast.

Vehicle:

- Ford F-250

Current stock features:

- 351M (M stands for modifeid, as appoused to the windsor's and cleavland's
- factory four speed
- 3.54 gearing
- dana 60 semi floater rearend
- independant leaf sprung front suspention (Twin Traction Beam (TTB)) equiped with dana 50 pumpkin
- np205 t-case
- factory posi
- reg cab long box
- plain jane truck aka no options. for this year i believe it was called a custom but ive yet to find any badging. so no power ANYTHING. and no A/C no tilt steering. only power option... powersteering lol

Mod list so-far

- 3 inch body block lift
- ricer shift nob
- Red Bull clear plaque (pics to come)
- Red Bull cans cut and strapped onto box roll bar
- 87 celica bucket seats
- 33" Goodyear Wrangler MTR's
- 6" stack fed buy stock exaust manifolds into 4" collector into the stack
- Red Bull t-case shifter
- Western star floormats
- mossy oak window visors and air freshener

To come:

- JVC deck (500watt) (DONE)
- Eclipse 6x9 speakers
- Grant gt challenger steering wheel (DONE!)
- 4bbl with Edlebrock preformer series intake
- headers
- Flowmaster 40 series muffler
- Toyo Open Country M/T's (35"x12.5"x16")
- 16" rims. pro comp steelies.

To fix:
hook up:
- turn signals
- tach
- speedo
- stereo (DONE)

Check and repair/rebuild
- front hubs
- crush sleave in rear end as when i first bought it, it tossed the rear d/s due to a loosened off spline nut. so the yoke had to come out. so ring n pinion angle need to be reset and new crush sleave and seal put in. (DONE)
- mount seats properly and not welded to original bench seat rails.
replace dip stick and get broken half out of motor.
drop oil pan and clean out the sludge.
- check for colapsed/stuck lifter. if stuck, run detergent oil threw motor. if colapsed replace or buy longer pushrods

and now ill let you see it.... please excuse my HORIBLE cell phone pics










in need of inner door handle







dumped the clutch in first n left these. NO BRAKES INVOLVED. i was pround of it seeing as though it has about 440xxx kms on it

Update: Got a pick 'n pull (local auto wrecher chain) gift card for 150 bucks will have new tail gate, door handles and other used goodies very soon!

*UPDATE* modded a 400 small block into my hands today threw the school. they gave it to my in exchange for my 351m that recently tossed a rod bearing so i believe. will have pics of said motor up soon, sooooooo stoked about it

*UPDATE*

rear roll bar removed for mods 2 weeks ago, now all cut up, shortened, and main hoop extended. going for a base mounted welded in roll bar instead of a bolt on top-of-box mounted.

400 small block all tore down ready for rebuild.

lubed all joints. replaced grease nipple on passenger side lower knuckle. lubed hook hinges. removed camo window banner

new parts list from the local wreckers, spent 180 bucks total.
- new tail gate (INSTALLED N PAINTED TO MATCH TRUCK)
- new steering box (mine stripped out, got my old one out so far. tomorrow new one will be in)
- new inner drivers door handle (INSTALLED)
- Grant GT Challenger steering wheel. ( stock 14 in. wheel, down to a 10 inch wheel, INSTALLED)
- new passenger headlight surround (INSTALLED)
- new rear drums

Grant GT Challenger now leather wrapped with red racing stripe at center mark. looks pree sick!

and steering box is all in and hooked up. gotta re-tap some threads on the tie rod that connects to the pitman arm then bleed the steering box and its good to go!
