Strangest food you have ever eaten?

I just got back from another wicked vacation in Austin (think of it as, strange like San Fransisco, but a lot less liberal), I found in a candy shop the wildest thing ever... Bacon and Cheddar flavored CRICKETS



I still don't know if I'm going to eat it yet, but, what else have you dared to consume?

I'v had rocky mountain oysters, liver, gizzards, pigeon, bear, and mountain lion. I l thought all of them were pretty good except gizzards and the mountain lion.

I once ate my wifes cooking. She attempted to use a cookbook, but I think the book would have tasted better. Other than that she has burned water, and the first time she made frozen pizza she left the cardboard with it; after the smoke cleared we ate out

Well, I guess the strangest thing I ate without knowing was cow's tongue. I was at a friend's house and I was just gobbling it down because it was really good. then he told me it was cow tongue some time after.

Senior year of high school, friends and I went to get burrito's from a hole in the wall Mexican supermarket. and my friends ordered me a burrito with cow brains for the meat. When we were eating I didn't know nor did it taste funny, not to mention they also had the place add their spiciest hot sauce. To me it was good, in the end my friends basically were left in shock, guess joke was on them

They have those crickets and much, much more in Hot Topic. One time the cashier gave me a free sour cream and onion mealworm when I bought some shirts. So I guess that's mine.

Oh yeah, I eat squirrel, rabbit, deer, bear, and anything else that roams around freely. Nothing too "strange."

I have eaten a lot of strange stuff traveling around the world... Canine in phillipeans, horse in Italy (very good) blood pudding in the UK, many others, oh and military MRE's and T-rats.

the only ones i can remember were:
Harry Potter Jelly Beans.. vomit flavored(tasted like a bunch of horse poop)
Rabit and Rattle Snake Sausage(mmmmm... tastey)
Duck and Bacon Sausuge(yummy!)

My question is...How do you know what horse manure tastes like? And does it taste bad? Because my dogs sure eat it like its candy when they get out in our pasture.

trust me.. if horse poop tastes like it smells.. then this is worse than horse poop
