in that case use an evo drive cup in the same way , then on the end of the drive shaft that goes to the front diff drill it and add a pin to make a dogbone

add or remove the pin for rwd or 4wd

this whole thread is a Q&A

you asked about shaftless rwd ......then changed you question to selectable
awd-rwd
your posts about the chassis i would take as questions on ideas of how to do it
if not then build the chassis and post the results

use an evo rear and hybrid it to a gen-1 front. then line it up and make a chassis plate that will allow secure mounting of both front and rear. how about that? that's close to shaftless gen1 rwd. if not, then it may be neccesary to have a bevel gear that has a short axke stub in it with a hole drilled into it somewhere so you can use a set-screw to hold it onto the shaft?

Meh, I'd have to reckon the Evo gear box is a very innefficient gear box. Lots of gears. Just have the bevel gear on a very short cut drive shaft. Two bearings back to back keep it level. Put front suspension on the back with links to keep the knuckles straight and you have shaftless, and no sing arm IRS.

what i would like to see is hydrolics. for people who like lowriders. anybody ever have one of those jesse james car? i think it would be hard to make the hydros small but like in the jesse james car they used motors to move the wheels up and down.

lol not a confrontation , i just dont see the point in wasting space in this thread lets put it to good use

i can CNC carbonfibre (just flat sheet ) but alloy or any other metal for that matter i can cut and form im a fabricator by trade

couple of ideas iv had
1 for you evo-ma010 conversion have you had a word with xmodcanuck he has a 3 axis router that woud be cabbable of making the parts in one piece (not 2 glued together)
2 something iv thought about for a wile but never tryed , an 8 pin board mount IC socket in place of the FETs
then changing fets is just plug and play you could even have a stack built ready to just drop in or an adapter for a turbo
fabcy a go at that ?
