Default mystery carb...

i bought a rc car off ebay about a year ago, it was just for spares really and on the engine it had this carb...

its a little bit of a mystery to me....it has no high speed screw just a twisty thing and has no low speed needle at all.

i need to know what this carb is for not even sure if its for a car, i was thinking its pretty much just like any other carb except you dont have to do anything to the low speed.

did the engine have a blue head on it? i found out its a sanye engine. kinda a veryc heap knockoff, doesnt even really have a web page

that carb looks identical to the one that was on the rs4 i got. i ditched the carb as it was very tempermental getting highside set and still keep it running at idle.

the engine was a really dirty tt pro 12 bx engine but the carb was clean apart from the little spots you can see.

The black plastic screw thing is the high speed needle, if you take it all the way out you will see that the end is tapered.

its a rotary carb, you find them on the smaller engines like the .12-.15's and mostly onroad cars.
i beilve the nitro rs4's have the rotary carbs.

The low speed mixture may be factory set and unchangeable. Take a pic of the sides of the carb, the center of that locking nut may be your LS adjustment.

think this is how they are setup, if there is no screw where i put the lsn in the pic then its built in and its just a 1 needle rotary carb.
i dont know much about these carbs so dont take my word for it but this is my understanding... i dont belive rotary carbs have MSN

the lsn your pointing to is just a flat base, and normal carbs have the lsn on the opposite side of the hsn base....... any way evey one i have ever had that had one..
this is just a cheapo carb. ii found a brand new .15 sanye engine on ebay, which is what is on my rs4, for like 50 bucks.
